there's real estate enough for placing 6 mac minis on the rear. but... that's not the point, it's only 1.0 inch thin. all the technology is covert in the stand.... yes, unbelievable but true!

i want to see wireless everything. we already have mouse and keyboard, i want to see wireless displays and speakers. This would leave the power cable as the only wire. That would be nice...

You mean a 24" intel core 2 duo 2.33 Ghz iMac with 3 GBs of ram and a 256MB Graphics card?

I like your overall design, but I think the new iMac won't resemble this when it comes out.

Wireless electricity is actually a very old technology invented by Nikola Tesla.
True ..... but Tesla was far from perfecting or even proving the technology ..... didn't the US Government seize all his research ??

Dead right. Bring back the Anglepoise. No chin, and you can turn it every which way. Very useful for showing stuff to visitors (and yes, I do/did do that).
Wireless power technology has been around since the days of Tesla, according to wikipedia. My guess is that its so weak, or dangerous, that it hasn't been introduced at all.
I personally think that the iMac G4 design is the best out of all the iMac designs. It would be heaven for them to put a C2D in one.

Maybe Apple will just leap ahead a decade or two, and combine their displays with their iPhones: you just leave your iPod in your pocket and the display connects to it and you instantly have an iMac in your pocket.
Although, even for Apple, being that far advanced would be pretty amazing.

i do think there is a imac re design or update very soon ive been noticing they have been pushing apples imacs through the refurbished section alot they will go to 3 intel imacs down to one for 2 days then have 3 again the next day so maybe some time in march/February there will be a new re design or upgrade

if its the slimmer down model i think it would be something like the curent apple cinnema display is the 20 " or what ever the first display is maybe a slight bigger

This review suggest that it is coming down the pipe to compete with this HP model for a in the kitchen/family room computer. I could really see this happening at the same time the iphone comes out.
I'd like to see something that is either completely new and unlike anything they've ever done before, or go to some variation of the "Lamp" design.
