Why do I buy Nintendo consoles? To play Nintendo games. And i have no problem buying Nintendo hardware to be able to do that. You can choose to do whatever you like with your money. And no, i do not have to divorce myself from any of my emotions or reasoning which influence which products and companies I chose to patronize(just as you are free to do the same).

It's like Steve Jobs said... to paraphrase: If Apple made a product people are willing to buy, each individual will vote with their wallet. And if enough people buy it they get to go to work the next day. And if they don't make a product people want to buy or are unwilling to buy, they won't buy it. And it works itself out.

A sincere question: From your posts, it seems like you really do not like Nintendo products, so why do you waste so much energy complaining about it? Why dont you forget about Nintendo altogether, and instead, buy and post about products/consoles/games you actually prefer instead? (Example: As a Mac user, i do not go onto Windows/PC forums and constantly complain to those users why I don't like the products they chose to buy)

Cheers

It's not a sincere question, it's the same passive-aggressive tripe that often gets lobbed by one that has just had their ox gored and don't have the benefit of a logical rejoinder. The original post was not aimed at you, you injected yourself into the conversation with a quippy two-word answer, and are now stamping your feet and using the verbal equivalent of 'what's true for me isn't necessarily true for you' argument, followed by the perennial fanboy favourite 'why are you even here?'. I'm not referring to you or myself or RP when I speak about the market, I referring to the entire audience of consumers as a whole, and one can, using information, draw very specific analytical conclusions. Those conclusions may be true or false, and I look forward to seeing if mine are. This is not a Nintendo fan site, or a thread devoted to fans of the Nintendo Switch. This is a thread about Switch discussion, whether positive or negative. If you have a particular problem with what I write, and care to argue against it from a data set of more than one (yourself), or however many people in your circle of friends and acquaintances purchased a Switch, then brilliant, I look forward to the argument. If you don't, and don't like what I have to say, following the example of Aneres11 and put me on ignore. You'll feel much more confident in your purchase and I'll spend much less time having to write posts like these.

Bravo./s

No offence, but I wont be responding to your constant negativity.

Hope you find consoles/products/games which make you happy.

Cheers

I see proccontroller in stock should I buy a few and resell to cover cost of one?

I'm wanting a switch argue. Every time I hesitate its gone from cart quick as expected

Regarding the joy-con controller grip, I'm getting more and more used to it. The individual (i.e, the L & R units) joy cons battery gets used up at a slightly different rate? After charging them separately over the weekend, they have lasted at least 10 hours (I haven't been keeping track). I may just be a cheapskate and get the charging grip, I don't have any current need for *another* joypad for my PC (which is how I would justify a $70 joystick, I could use it for both the PC and Switch).

Really not getting into Bomberman R. I think it's the isometric view making its controls really wonky as it causes a crapton of accidental deaths as you try to dash out the way but the controls let you down in that isometric viewpoint (down is not down, it's diagonal etc..)

I am going to take it back to GameStop and swap it for something else (the benefits of being Epic at GS is you get two weeks satisfaction returns) and will likely just pick up Skylanders Imaginators ...

Looks like poo. Especially for $50

Good feedback

I was gobsmacked that it was a made a launch title, and worse still given a physical release instead of something like Fast RMX. Have you seen the sales numbers for the Bomberman series? They're hilarious.

Are you going to be using it in console mode? If so, I definitely suggest getting one. My hands swallowed the Joy-Cons and I don't feel that I have overly large hands.

Probably yeah,

Is that the only necessary accessory ? Also would it be ok to just get one pro and use joycons for second controller for when someone wants to play multiplayer when that comes out?

And these things are generally tough to find, the controllers, right ?

do you guys think pro controller is worth getting when/if I do get a Switch?

Getting that switch itch

Just unpacked mine and set it up.
The console will leave the console sporadically but a large portion will be docked.

I really like the grip it came with but also have to charge the joy cons consistently.

I will be grabbing the Pro Controller as I have heard nothing but fantastic things about it especially with how much I will be console gaming.

I am filled with regret I didn't scoop one the limited time I saw it in stock. (The console)

I might be more weak next time I'm in that predicament :p

It's the only accessory I have so far (other than the car charger). I'm using the joycons for a second controller in my setup. Working fine for me.

The Switch Pro Controller is a great controller by the way. I've used it everyday (since Friday) out of box and have yet to charge it. No issues, no disconnects, etc. Unless you plan on using the Switch for mostly portable playing, I would highly recommend the pro controller.

Would also be nice to keep them attached except for multiplayer. Or if u don't bring pro out and about.

To not have to remove them seems sweet, especially when docking it

Where is everyone putting their dock?

Mine is inside a wall unit with a door but I keep it open when gaming.
I'm concerned about heat and also inconvenient of where it's at being so low and before I get my screen protector.

Mine is next to the TV on my entertainment center. I ran it sideways so it's not quite as noticeable :)

I see you kept your Pro! Don't sell it Cnasty. (Apologies for being off topic, I have love for the Pro).

I have no idea why I didn't think of putting it "vertically" next to my TV.

I may just do that.

Yeah, that's where I have mine too, right next to the tv, makes it easy to dock and undock. Been using it mostly in portable mode though, as has my son.

Whether the console is a success or not, all I know is this is the first Nintendo console since the N64 that I was this excited to get, and first one I've ever gotten at launch. I also haven't been this into game (Breath of the Wild) since Uncharted 3. So far for me it's been great.
