For those still looking for a pro controller, keep checking back on Best Buy's website. They list which stores have them in stock, and surprisingly you can order them for store pickup. That's how I got mine.

Borrowed my nephews today when I went to get a oil change/air bag fix on my car.

While cool to play Zelda on the go. It's not really all that portable.

What do you mean by "not all that portable"? I feel like if it was smaller the experience would suffer. Sure, won't fit in a normal sized pocket, but you can still take it anywhere you want, especially if you already carry a backpack or something like that.

Ultimately I kinda wish that the dock had some kind of guide-rail to stop the screen getting scraped anyway (but that's a different niggle for a different day!) lol

I saw a comment on an Ars article about the Switch, stating that there are 2 different docks at this point, one which is padded to reduce/prevent scratching and one that isn't. I have no idea if that is accurate or reliable information, so take that with a big-bucket-o-salt.

Anyone have this bag by chance? I have heard nothing but good things.

I currently use a leather messenger bag for work and its on its last leg. Deciding between going to a backpack style with benefits of Switch storage or another messenger bag.

I am thinking though a Switch logo on it wont come off as that professional :)

I think what he meant was, "I'm just trolling here..."

Honestly, the Switch is smaller *and* lighter than my iPad...

I saw a review at

If you don't mind the bag screaming out,"Look what I've got!", then go for it!

So far only one official dock that I've ever seen (there are loads of 3rd party stands and things, but not really docks in the conventional sense) ie: you could technically stand them in there and charge it with the cable, but it wouldn't work in the sense of it hooking itself up to the tv, like the dock that comes with the console.

Just got the call that my switch is stock at my local gamezone but my pro controller won't be here until tomorrow. What the hell? I've got to play Zelda for the first time like an animal!!!!

I got an email early this morning for Orzly, basically (summarizing greatly), "We apologize that it was all your fault for expecting you would get the screen protector soon. Because you prodded us with your confused complaints, we finally bothered to set up a US logistic partner, and soon expect to be included with Amazon Prime."
Oh I heard it was due to a missing shipment (maybe this is UK only)

What are the specific left joycon issues?

My joystick was acting weird in Zelda twice last night , was a little laggy / kept running when I stopped touching it

But worked flawlessly 99 percent of the time
Of a few hours of use

Exactly as you describe.

Random Bluetooth interference / disconnections leading to laggy or imprecise input.

For a moment there, I couldn't work out whether you were talking about an actual joystick, or whether you were talking in euphemisms for something else! OoO (...My fault, not yours!).
-But when you have a sense of humor as warped as mine, what you just wrote was HILARIOUS!! :D

"Small number" heh  Since he just bought the Switch, for sure it's not the initial launch batch, so they still haven't corrected this issue during manufacturing..

Why can't these companies just own up to these problems. I haven't experienced the issue myself, only because I haven't used the joycons off the console. I probably will tonight - bought Binding of Isaac, will be a blast playing 2P with my son. And then I'll toss that left joycon right at my TV when it disconnects :p

A "joy con" by Nintendo o_O how fitting :p

You're sending yours off for repair? What's your estimate to receive it back?

Less than a week. 2 day air to them

I'm assuming 2 day air back

Loving the pro controller with Zelda. Wow

Joycon are good but this is magical. I doubt I'll return the controller :p feels great
