I've been playing more of Arms recently. I fell out with it because I wasn't very good and just couldn't get my head around constantly dodging and fighting. Since V2 I've been playing as Max Brass and it's making a bit more sense to me due to the lack of auto aiming his arms have.
Yeah, some characters are better than others. Some just feel impossible, and others seem to have quite a bit of an advantage, but I don't pretend to be good at the game. I've on;y played it in short bouts rather than being one I'm constantly on.
But yeah I keep tinkering away on it. I've only played for a few hours and I generally get through 1 mission on each infrequent play... I do mean to properly sink my teeth into it but Minecraft and Zelda take up ALL of my spare time right now.
My god yes!! (The two most addictive games on the Switch in my opinion!) I didn't even used to be a fan of minecraft at all, but ever since my daughter got it on the switch, she's kinda got me hooked on it, and I bought a second copy for my switch aswell so that we could each play it on our own screens. (I'm glad there was a way to play with specific friends in the end so that we can do that, rather than it just being from a random pool of online players). We got a better pc for her aswell so that she could play the that aswell with the mods that she wanted, but the switch version still just plays so much smoother, so is the one we still play most of the time. Much more enjoyable on the Switch in my opinion.
As for Zelda, finally getting closer to 100% completion. (always seems just around the corner, but this time it very nearly is). Got the last of all 900 Koroks last week and awarded the golden poop (so I can confirm that the rumor about that being the prize was true). Every single armour set and upgrade got completed the week before that. So now, there's just the last of the three DLC sword trials left to do and the final boss, which will be literally everything I have access to until the last DLC comes out.
I'm also not counting the armour sets of the last three link amiibos (majora link/twilight princess link/skyward sword link) because I refuse to pay scalpers for those. Plenty to do in the meantime, and besides, waiting for the non scalped ones will mean that it will give me chance to play many of the other switch games that I've been dying to sink my teeth into properly, but have only dabbled in so far due to not being able to put breath of the wild down. So I totally know where you're coming from on those two games. Minecraft obviously is not the type of game that has an end, so I'm not waiting for a specific point before I come off that, I just play it when my daughter does, and then Zelda the rest of the time.
Anyways, thanks for all the game tips, will be looking forward to trying a few of those once Zelda is done. Btw, Oceanborne was another good blatant Zelda rip-off that they made a fairly decent job of. (it's on steam aswell, but I got it on the switch) That one's kinda like wind waker and phantom hourglass, just obviously a lower budget one, but still alot of fun. It's on steam aswell and a few other platforms, but I got mine on the switch. In an odd sort of way, I still preferred Kamiko better as a Zelda clone). Kamiko was only a short game, and me previously not being sure whether they had finished it was just because I hadn't found the last secret that unlocks the main palace, but I did find it in the end and managed to 100% it. (it's quite short like old school console games used to be, but I personally like that. as there was only 5 levels, but is incredibly addictive, and you can go back and play it as a choice of 3 different characters, each giving you a different weapon ability. (the first one has a sword, the second one has an orb that behaves like a boomerang, and the 3rd one has a bow and arrow. -Each make for a different gameplay experience, and incredibly fun for a game that only cost 5 bucks.
Never played it, never been a fan of its design. And there's some drama with the devs
Which game were you referring to here, and what were the issues with the devs?

I'm buying whatever is cheapest and often times that tends to be physical surprisingly.
Was thinking the same. I have a large MicroSD card now, so I intend to go digital wherever possible for convenience wherever possible, but for some games it's just significantly cheaper than the other. (Minecraft story mode for example was only 24 bucks on amazon uk, which is massively cheaper than on the eShop). However, for Mario & Rabbids, it's too close to close call, so I'm in a bit of a dilemma with it which way I'm going to do it. (by the time delivery is included on the physical version, it works out quite similar to what a premium game will cost on the eShop anyway). However, me and my daughter both love most of the Rabbids games (admittedly there has been a few terrible ones aswell, but the ones that are good are REALLY good), so having one physical cartridge would mean we could both play from the same cartridge, whereas digital means we would have to buy it twice. I'm thinking to get it on cartridge first to see if we like it (looking at the footage for it, it looks awesome, so I have a feeling we're going to love this one, so we probably will both end up getting a copy each in the end!) So going physical at first to test whether we like it sounds the safest option, and then if it turns out to be as awesome as it looks, I'll just download the digital version for myself and let my daughter keep the physical version.
I like Half Genie Hero, but I also loved the previous Shantae games. Whilst Half Genie Hero has the looks, I do think the earlier games were better platformers generally though.
Interesting, so would you recommend I go back and buy the WiiU version aswell anyway? I might still do that, as I quite enjoyed the Switch version, so if older versions are even better, I'm going to love them! (or did you mean versions older than WiiU were the better ones?)
