Gah, after 3 days of the CandyShell the little things are beginning to bother me. The lips are wearing down and getting the fuzz everywhere, which is bothering the crap out of me. Not to mention the area around the bottom is beginning to fray, and that's where I situate my pinky when I hold the phone. Not to mention it's a fairly bulk, heavy case. Does anyone have any experience with returning something like this to AT&T?

Im sorry, but this case looks too rubbery or silicone-like to stand any chance of a swift removal from one's pocket.
After using the bumper for a week and looking like an idiot needing two hands to free my phone from my pocket, I'll never go back to silicone.

The HD is made of TPU not silicone.

I ordered the case the day I got my i4.. I think it was about 3 weeks ago. It should ship by 17th September and arrive on the 22nd. I would like if it comes faster, but hey, it's great AND free.

I had that case for my 3Gs. One year of use. And trust me i'm an idiot I drop my phone at least once a day. Not a single scratch on my phone.

I got my i4 today and ordered the same case right away. Best case I have ever had. A bit clunky cause it is pretty rugged. I like it that way though.

I go downhilling (mountain bike) with my phone in my pocket and feel safe, the helmet helps there too ;)

I don't think the iPhone 4 case is clunky at all!

Nifty little thread you got goin' here. Thanks for the info, I'm glad I ordered this one in the Case Program :D

From what I've been reading, everyone who's got one love it. So, I'm quite excited to get mine in September.

EDIT--
Adding on, I LOVE Speck's products. Got a case for my MacBook Pro and my iPhone 4 is wearing the Speck Fitted right now (bought it before the Case Program), we'll see if I like the HD better than the Fitted.

I like this case. Where can I purchase one? Link? Retailer?/ Thank you.

OK here you go. Sorry for the terrible white balancing. I'm using my wife's iPhone 4, and we all know how that does indoor.... :D

As you can see, the case just fits perfectly. And the back is really nicely textured. Yes, it's simple, but what it does it does brilliantly, and no other case does THIS as well.

I put my pixelskin hd back on today and it started to bubble my PS screen protector! Pushed out the bubbles in the corners and they went away. Hopefully it won't happen again.

I prefer the Geometric to the Pixelskin HD but they are essentially the same case with a different style back. Great material and fit.

I think you had this PixelSkin. The PixelSkin HD did not exist for the 3G/3GS. The PixelSkin is clunky; the PixelSkin HD is not :)

It's TPU plastic, not silicone rubber.

This is a nice case. I think it basically comes down to whether you like the pixel design or not. The thing that bugged me about the Geometric is it's not stable when laying on a table. Otherwise, yeah, they're basically the same.

This case does not have the additional support that a bumper has with it's hard plastic ring.

That is a weak spot on the HD because of all the removed material for port and speaker access. Workaround for the HD would be to insert the bottom first so that you are not pulling on the bottom lip to stretch it over the phone.

I'm still going to get one.

Not a weak spot really, unless you tug on that piece every day!

One reason I remain majorly skeptical of the Speck cases is that I had a Speck Pixelskin for my iPod Touch from day 1, and the stainless steel back of the iPod was scratched from dirt getting into the case. I can only imagine what it would do over time to the iPhone's back glass.

Also - I cant stand how it gets stuck in your pocked because of the rubber. The HD version might be better, but that is what I remember (and disliked) about the Speck case I had.

The regular pixelskin sticks in your pocket because it's made of silicon, the pixelskin hd is made out of tpu, which doesnt.

Got mine today, gotta say despite initial skepticism over this thread, its actually a very nice case

I can confirm that it fits my phone which has PS front, back and Lucky labs viny sides installed with no bubbling. :D

Ultimate protection indeed

edit - one criticism is that it is quite smooth, as in not that grippy

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

I prefer the extra rigidity and slight extra thickness of the Incipio NGP. The Pixelskin has too much play in it, especially at the bottom edge.

I love this case too, but I have flash issues with it just like every other case I've tried with a tight opening around the camera and flash.

I don't. I DO find that depending on the scenario, the iPhone 4 has trouble with flash even WITHOUT a case!

just got my free case and I'm noticing that the top lock/sleep button is really difficult to press. Not tactile at all. Anyone else getting this same issue?
