I guess I'll be standing out in the cold at Verizon. I think a let Verizon Wireless screw up. I got an email Sunday at 5:34pm stating the order was on hold. I called in, the lady said that they needed a credit card, I gave them the credit card number again. They ran it 5 times and it didn't go through.
They place me on hold, came back after 5 minutes and tried again, then she got her manager involved. She said I could either pay for the phone in full or they could cancel the request, then put a "jump the line" request in. About 10 times she said I wouldn't loose my delivery date of November 3rd. She said if I didn't get a tracking number by this afternoon to call back in.
So I let them. This morning the new order shows December 1st. I called Verizon back up and they said they showed "jump the line" request in in place and I should be good.
12:30pm, my card gets charged, and shows pending, and then I get an email "Thank you for your payment".............Still not a single tracking number.

So I call back into Verizon at 9pm and said hay what's up with this. The lady says, we're out of iPhone X's and it will be December, I said, so basically your telling me an Verizon Employee lied to me?? So they transferred me to 3 different people and they're all just confused.

So I guess I'm going to be, bundled up and at Verizon at 5am to stand in line. This is CRAZY! I never in my life have had this issue.

Does anyone have any experience with this "jump the line request"?

Still nothing for me. 11/3 delivery date, ordered at 3:13amEST with a confirm e-mail at 3:38am, order location D771001. I live on Long Island, New York. The wait continues...
 
Same location code as mine! And I ordered 3 mins earlier than you but received my email confirmation 7 mins after you. Hopefully mine gets charged in the next few hours

What X combo did you order?

I got the Space Gray 256GB. Hopefully yours will get charged soon!

Same here: my phone is in Elizabeth, NJ, and tracking says, "At local FedEx facility". Elizabeth, NJ is not "local" to me -- although it's closer to me than to you. I expect our phones will start moving to a true "local FedEx facility" by Nov. 2nd or sooner.

Our phones are together.
Mine says the same thing about being at a local facility. I’m in Pittsburgh, so that NJ location sure ain’t local for me either lol.
At least we have movement!

I am on West Coast and the tracking number from Verizon for FedEx is showing same thing (“at local facility, Elizabeth NJ”) - but it’s strange as it still does not show a full “destination” address nor does it show up on my FedEx Package Manager. I think these phones are all in huge LTL freight crates - if you google Elizabeth NJ FedEx - it’s FedEx freight. I bet they get broken apart into individual packages in next few days, and then we will see the address reflected - right now they are probably in bulk...

finally got a charge, just got off the phone getting the $30 fee refunded!

My silver 64gb iphone x shipped this am. Just got charged for the 256gb sg model. Waiting for it to ship. I ordered the 256 first but it's behind the 64gb.
 
Anyone know how I can get charged but have an 11/15 ship date? Makes no sense. In the corfirmstion email 2/3 phones had an 11/3 ship date and only one had 11/15

Same here. Are they crediting your account or payment method you used to pay for the phone? I paid full retail price with the $30 upgrade fee added to my total. I just used online chat and got $30 bill credit

Did you just complain about the activation fee? Any tricks to getting the credit?

I just mentioned the facts. I'm not on contract, no current or future monthly device payments, paid full retail, $30 charge to basically just swap sims, etc...
