I guess I'll be standing out in the cold at Verizon. I think a let Verizon Wireless screw up. I got an email Sunday at 5:34pm stating the order was on hold. I called in, the lady said that they needed a credit card, I gave them the credit card number again. They ran it 5 times and it didn't go through.
They place me on hold, came back after 5 minutes and tried again, then she got her manager involved. She said I could either pay for the phone in full or they could cancel the request, then put a "jump the line" request in. About 10 times she said I wouldn't loose my delivery date of November 3rd. She said if I didn't get a tracking number by this afternoon to call back in.
So I let them. This morning the new order shows December 1st. I called Verizon back up and they said they showed "jump the line" request in in place and I should be good.
12:30pm, my card gets charged, and shows pending, and then I get an email "Thank you for your payment".............Still not a single tracking number.
So I call back into Verizon at 9pm and said hay what's up with this. The lady says, we're out of iPhone X's and it will be December, I said, so basically your telling me an Verizon Employee lied to me?? So they transferred me to 3 different people and they're all just confused.
So I guess I'm going to be, bundled up and at Verizon at 5am to stand in line. This is CRAZY! I never in my life have had this issue.
Does anyone have any experience with this "jump the line request"?
