This phone is a beast!!! So in love with it ❤️ Charger is great, design and UI is great. Already getting used to the new gestures and button presses but still stumble with seeking the home button every now and then. Loving the portrait mode on the front camera and Face ID is a cinch to set up and use. Gonna set up Apple Pay later and give it a try while out and about. Really can’t wait for the Apple Pay Cash to be released.
Anywho, these are my pics as promised. Used the Speck case but placed two orders for custom cases from Skinit tonight. Can’t wait for them to arrive

silver is the outstanding color. Space gray color is a common cell phone color and there is nothing special in it. Your wife must love it.
For all who still have to wait receiving your order and are still able or allowed to cancel it, you can purchase online in Apple store apps and choose store pick up. I just did this for my other line for today pick up. This is subject to the store supply availablity. Good luck!!

Just checking in with you to see if your phone is still sitting in Memphis? I called fedex yesterday and they said it couldn’t leave their facility because of a thunderstorm... so they told me they would try to make my package top priority and get it to me today
Looks like my phone was put on a wrong flight yesterday, I’m guessing. Usually it goes from Memphis to Fargo to Bismarck. Yesterday it went from Memphis to Minot to Fargo. I had guaranteed delivery for last night by 8pm. Now it just says Pending.
Somebody at FedEx screwed up. If I don’t see it “out for delivery” on Monday, there will be some unfriendly phone calls made. Usually I don’t get upset if a mistake like this is made but this is a $1200 iPhone that I’m on the hook for paying.

Not going to lie I was worried last night because all my apps looked terrible but when I woke up this morning most have them have updated! Up until now I was really missing my iPhone 7+ but I feel much better now.
Yes it so cool they let you put the accessories on your bill when igot the charge Wednesday i didn’t think nothing of it then i got the email didn’t want to pay for expensive accessories so I’m waiting on amazon as we speak

Me too I’m a little scared that at some point I’m going to miss my 7+ i was so happy when i got that phone I’m happy about this one but it is some getting use to

Something made me go check the apple website for in-store pickup and shipping times. Turns out there was stock for the 256 SG available at 3 apple stores. After a bunch of back and forth with Verizon online I tried to add a line with a cheap phone then replacing the phone immediately with the in-store pickup option from apple.com (which didn’t work becuase it’s the weekend so Verizon couldn’t supply a phone number until Monday). I went ahead and canceled my online order with Verizon (which had a 12/13 ship date) and went to apple.com which had an estimate ship time of 3-4 weeks and was still available for in-store pickup today. By the time the order was canceled on Verizon’s end the onlystore with exact phone I wanted was in Yonkers, which is like 3 hours away via transit, so I’m just going to take a cab up there after class today. I’m so excited, hopefully they don’t mistakingly sell my order or something.
Got a call from my local Verizon Store that they had a 64gb X available, this was at about 7:30 p.m. last night. I'll have to check this morning if it's still available.
Spigen Rugged Armor. I use it on my 8 and care wirelessly charge with no issues.
Update: My phone didn't arrive last night because of 'mechanical issues'

FedEx called and said I won’t get my phone today either.. what a surprise. Scheduled delivery for Monday, so let’s see if that happens. I don’t have the option of picking it up at the fedex facility either because my local sort facility is 2 1/2 hours away.. yes that’s local haha. I guess it’s better late than never.
