did you order from Apple though? Because Apple orders are via UPS usually.
I don't think Verizon has shipped anything yet. Their system is glitchy. On two separate occasions, I checked my order status and it showed me a "delivered" shipment for a completely different order (not mine). If you ordered via Verizon and you are seeing a tracking number, make sure that the order number displayed on the screen matches yours!
Has anyone dealt with getting their delivery date escalated? I had to cancel my preorder for a reason that wasn't my fault and reorder but by that time delivery dates were pushed back to 9/29 for the space grey 64gb 8 plus on Verizon and the customer service rep said they would put in an escalation order but I still haven't heard anything back about it. It still says 9/29 delivery on my Verizon orders
i've heard that 8 and 8+ iphones are still in stock so there is a good chance your orders get bumped
Not anymore. As of sometime between 11 PM and 6 AM this morning, most all of them have pushed back shipping dates and no option at all for in store pickup. A couple still have Friday delivery, but in store pickup is gone. Hoping that changes again before Friday.
Maybe it depends on where you're located. My verizon orders always come from UPS, I'm in eastern NC.
Call Apple, I was having the same issue and online it showed not having any for pickup but on the phone or even in the chat the person was telling me they could reserve me one there.
Really? I did the online chat this morning and they said tough luck.

Right. I tried to do it on apple but had to cancel because I want to trade in my current 7 at 50% paid off and they said I can only do it through them.
So if I buy the iPhone X and pay for it in full, would I be able to activate it with my current phone number? So I will continue making the last 12 month of my device payment towards my 7 plus and continue getting the rest of the 650 promo credit? Do I have to keep the 7plus until next September, or can I sell the device and continue paying until next September? Thanks!

If it's like last year the charges and shipping info come at night between 7-11 EST
Last year I was charged on the 13th (Tuesday) for delivery on launch day (Friday). I dont remember if there were any charges on that Monday.
I looked at last year's thread yesterday they started Sunday but there was more volume.
