Oh. After that it just has me save it as a favorite. Now all I have to do is hit continue on pre order night and it’ll be done
We were testing it with the iPhone 8. Try it.

Ok. Now i see what you’re talking about.
Looks like you have to pay up to the 12th installment and then it will let you through.
Well this sucks. I guess I’ll be going through the verizon app. UghI thought that as well, but I have paid the 12th installment. The issue apparently is that Apple store is saying that they don't accept Verizon trade in the app or online.

TLDR...
Last year I got in on the deal where I traded an iPhone 6 and received a $650 credit. This credit is being paid out monthly, $27.08/month. Does anyone have details on what will happen if I pay the upgrade early with return fee ($36.10) and send back my 7+? Will I continue to receive the $27.08/month credit? I cant be the only person wondering. Thanks!
I need input. I won't be near a computer on pre-order day for the iPhone X. (long story) How can I secure a pre order? Should I see if my local Verizon stores are accepting pre orders list's?
Can you sign up as a new customer when pre-ordering through Verizon? I wanted the CDMA version just to have the option of any carrier because I don't have a carrier at the moment. But apple won't let you preorder without being an existing customer of a carrier. But I hadn't considered pre-ordering through Verizon.
The moment you trade-in your phone, you will lose the credits going forward.
Credits will continue if you keep the phone on the account, but on a different number under the same account.Thank you for your response, I want an X but not that badly.
I’m using T-Mobile now. Thinking of getting a cheap no contract Verizon data plan for a month just to able to preorder the Qualcomm chip iPhone X. I will keep my number on T-Mobile SIM card. in order to be an active Verizon user does that mean I have to get a new number associate with the VZ SIM card? If so do I have to insert that into my current phone (Verizon compatibility) to activate the sim?

Are we thinking it will be smarter to go through Apple’s website to do the Verizon upgrade program, or go directly through the Verizon website??
From the looks of it, if you’re on an installment plan you have to go through the Verizon app. If you have the IUP then you’re fine to go through Apple. But from what I see as well as a couple other members here have found out, if you’re doing carrier financing, you’ll have to go through the carriers site or app.
I’d recommend making sure you have the My Verizon app downloaded and a card saved on file.
Hope this helps answer your question.
So it’s easier/quicker to upgrade through the app versus the website?
Yes. Always use the app. It’s more stable. So it’s easier/quicker to upgrade through the app versus the website?
So to be clear, if I’m currently on a BYOD plan eligible for $0 on a new device would I have any trouble using the Apple Store app or would I be better off with the Verizon app?
I’d say so, yes. I tested with the iPhone 8 last night and it took me a minute and 5 seconds to get from opening the Verizon app to hitting “place order.”
Have a card saved and have your Verizon password saved through touchID to speed it along.
I’ll try just using the website next.
