It's that scratch you may need to itch.
Worst case it doesn't work out, then you'll know and will have exhausted your options. You can then return to the SE 2020 knowing it's the only option.
Best case it works out and your on flagship hardware. Naturally I'm biased because if it works for you then I'll be getting onboard ?.
That said I'm probably booking in for a new battery for my 7 plus at the end of the week then searching for a brand new 8 Plus.
I thought I received the SE on a Wednesday, but it was actually a Tuesday two weeks ago so today is my last day to generate a return.
Technically I could print a label to give myself another two weeks to decide, but that will cancel my trade-in. While iPhone SE is an upgrade in some ways it is a downgrade in others, and better or worse the size difference is noticeable going back and forth.
Also if I do get the 12 Pro I’ll likely make a couple dozen posts about it and not want to return it, but end up having to to avoid a 24/7 headache.
I liked the Jet Black 7+ in some ways more than the 8+ even though the 8+ has basically every modern convenience including wireless charging.
I’ve spoken to a few people at Apple and they’ve all indicated that there isn’t a limit to returns. Technically a customer could go through the entire iPhone 12 lineup if they needed to, but that customer would likely end up keeping one of the phones. I assume that’s because customer satisfaction is their priority and they don’t end up losing money since refurbished products hold value extremely well.
This all would be so much easier if I could have just kept my iPhone 12 Pro Max since I was 100% satisfied beyond *insert broken record here*.
