Wow… congrats! I haven’t received an email regarding shipping. But if I recall.. you couldn’t cancel that Friday because of some system lock in place, perhaps.. by threatening cancellation pushed Best Buy to make it a priority and ship it. My order page just showed we will email when there's an estimated delivery date. No charges to my credit card at all (not even a pre-auth when I placed my preorder) and cancellation was easy as pie.

So I just got off a chat with them, here is the info they gave me just now: " Upon checking, I see that your order has packed and ready for the shipment (awaiting carrier pick up). It will be ship out shortly and it will be delivered to you on or before 05/28/2021. We will send you the tracking details to your email as soon as the carrier pick up the package. I have some gift cards through Best Buy and I was going the Best Buy route regardless of what issues may arise. I feel its a blessing in disguise that it’s coming late because if it would have came at launch… I would potentially had to sell it if iPadOS 15 doesn‘t offer any meaningful features for the newest iPad Pros. And now, the return date falls exactly around WWDC unless by some crazy miracle I get it tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing. That’s what we are here for. Trying to find clarity in the mess that Best Buy has created for us who’s the complete opposite of Apple that give their customers a measure of confidence.Agreed, just sharing what they are telling me for the moment so we can compare the messaging, you are right in that I won't know for sure until I actually have tracking. There’s the tracking number inside it.I'm also in the "Shipped today - Arriving Today - Waiting on UPS to provide tracking info" world. That message about "we should have the tracking info soon" has been up for about 3 hours that I know of.
Good tip, yea the tracking info from the email shows expected delivery Wednesday and its shipping ground UPS but it does indicate "check back tomorrow for updated delivery date". If I’m not mistaken… they keep replacements for cases were defects might occur. I don’t think you’ll be waiting for stock.I pray there’s no defects on my device because it’s backordered now, so my only two options would be returning it for an 11” or waiting for the 12.9” to come back into stock. I really hope things are up to par with this one.
