They come by email, but if you know your order number and shipping ZIP code, you can look it up on the Apple site that way.
Or just login to the Apple store to see all your orders.... I tried keeping the tracking up on the FedEx site, which usually works, but something went wrong there.
Don't worry, they will take your money. Mine hasn't been charged yet either. I had about 3 temp charges appear then disappear since march 13. It will likely appear again today or tomorrow.

My order status on the apple site still says 'Not Yet Shipped'. I am in Scottsdale, AZ so I am guessing maybe they have them here in Phoenix. I ordered my 64GB 3G iPad around April 12th and received the emails stating I'd receive mine on April 30th. Who knows.. anyways I am headed to Vegas tonight so hopefully it will be here when I get back.
My 64GB 3G+Wifi iPad is en route. I have a FedEx tracking number! I will have my iPad tomorrow!
Just got mine for delivery tomorrow. . As luck would have it, I've had a cold for the last week <cough> <cough> so I'm thinking that it might be prudent to work from home tomorrow. For medical reasons, of course

Mine said estimated delivery was the 28th but FedEx didn't pick it up in Middletown, Pa until a little after 7 am this morning. Going out of town tomorrow so I arranged to pick it up at 9am at the FedEx office.

I did the same thing. So long as you get to FedEx by phone today (once it shows that FedEx has picked it up, you can arrange to not have the package put on the truck and simply pick it up yourself at the FedEx distribution facility. Works great for me since fedEx does not hit my little burgh until late in the afternoon. I don't know about y'all, but, I would rather not wait on the FedEx guy like the cable company (sometime between the hours of 8-5!)

I received my shipping notification in Portland, Oregon via an email from Apple for delivery tomorrow by 3:00pm.

OK, I called FEDEX and they told me that APPLE requires them to attempt delivery and that I could not request it to be held. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Mine still says Preparing for Shipment. A buddy of mine, who ordered about 4 hours after I did, already got his shipment notification and tracking number.

I wonder if this is still running the same software (3.2) as the wifi iPads. Hopefully they address the wifi issue some are having.

I stopped by the FedEx station and the girl said she would be glad to hold it. I talked to my FedEx driver last week when he dropped by camera connector kit off and he told me to do the same thing.
