haha, that would be worse...it was a black HAIR...like a hair was laying across it when the factory children snapped in the watch band pieces, locking it in place.

Received my S6 Titanium yesterday with original black leather loop. Really surprised as it only took a week to get here and it also came with the charging brick.

Well.........my SB Ti is on my wrist! Quite the ordeal....I couldn’t go in store...received the watch out in the doorway. So I didn’t get to see the natural Ti or even size my band. I would have to set up another appointment later in the afternoon for that! I got the medium black leather loop and my wrist measures 184mm which is between both the large and the medium. I cant put on or take off the watch without taking the loop apart but I was afraid of too much overlap with the large.
Preliminary verdict: I like the black look very much....much better than when I put an aftermarket black case over my SS. The only disappointment is I can see why people say it looks like a SB aluminum because it really does.....almost imperceptible difference. The Ti is worth the upgrade over the aluminum just for the sapphire crystal, extra band and warranty IMO. For what the trade in or sale of my SS5 is I will keep when I want that dressier look.
Photo of both my AL and Ti. Also photo of my leather loop for size opinion.

So far I gotta say I'm very impressed as how well my SBTi AW6 is holding up. I just managed to bang it hard on a countertop by accident and what I thought I saw was a scratch line on the casing. However with a microfiber cloth and gentle cleaning I managed to get rid of that weird mark. Thanks to the DLC, I'm very impressed how it held up.

Odd that in Denver no stores carried the Titanium models yet my Tampa Florida has them.
Getting in too late for my watch pick up. Dang!

Apples Allocation for the titanium Apple Watch is based on the ‘foot traffic‘ for that specific store if it’s high volume. For example, I have three mall stores in my region, none of which stock the titanium, but they’re also smaller in size, where they have less product. It really depends on your region and how large the store is.

Back from the Apple store and unfortunately they had no Titanium watch to sell but SB looks beautiful. Probably have to wait to the November 13. for delivery. Can’t wait.

In the other thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-got-real-cheap-with-series-6.2258137/) I read that the little cover of the diagnostic port in the Space Black Titanium AW 6 does not match color with the rest of the watch. Posters over there made comparisons and worked out that the cover is most likely Space Gray Aluminum, also used in the Stainless Steel versions of the AW6 to cover the port. So it seems like Apple is using a "generic" port cover and not one that is perfectly matched to the color and the material of the watches - probably due to cost saving reasons.

Can owners of the SBTi AW 6 in this thread here confirm this? Thanks a lot.

From a functional point of view this is not a big deal, the cover is not even visible during regular use.
But it strikes me as odd, since this is going against one of the core design principles of Apple - the back of the cabinet needs to be as meticulously crafted as the rest, even though it will never be visible.

My SBTi AW6 should arrive some time next week. I would expect that at least the flagship model have matching port covers with the rest of the watch. Very strange.

Mine looks a little different also but it could be just the angle of the light striking it. As you move the watch around all the areas change hue and texture. Heck even the rectangular button next to the round button can look different. It’s possible the port cover is too small for titanium material also.

Yeah that was me asking about it. Here’s what I’m seeing. Looks very different in bright light and pretty close in shadows/out of bright light.

So I ordered on Wednesday for 11/06 - 11/13. The Apple App shows 11/13 as delivery date. Now when i click again on buy the scheduled time is between 11/04 - 11/06. Do I have to cancel my order and buy again? My scheduled time doesn't update. How long does this take?

Why would you have to cancel your order? It appears that Apple will be shipping your watch ahead of time. Which is typical of them, when they tend to ‘under promise/over deliver’.

Ordered my SB Titanium on the 10th Oct and received it yesterday, 19th Oct.

I’d ordered the ginger sports band to go with it... which my wife has quickly taken for her AL series 4 ?

However... I think I’ll see about getting her the normal Titanium for her Christmas box... just need to decide on which additional strap to add... that I like ?

Edit... just to say mine turned up with a charging brick?!?

Thank you sir! Can you tell me when the status changed to "prepare to ship" and "shipped". After 6 Days no change but you give me some hope.

Btw: What was your scheduled time when you ordered?

It took about 2 days from preparing to ship to shipped. Originally it was set for a 28th Oct delivery... once shipped it said 23rd but the UPS delivery confirmation said by the end of the 19th... and it was! Quite fast turned around but I think that was down to the strap selection.

Edit... it took a few days to move from processing to preparing to ship mind you.

Just an FYI, You probably shouldn’t blame Apple, when that’s a server error message, the page does exist, otherwise they wouldn’t advertise a watch for sale.
