My titanium watch shipped and is supposed to be arriving next Monday. I’ve been browsing and I can’t really seem to find a whole lot of bands that look good with the raw color. I’ve got the graphite steel I was able to pick up yesterday so I’ve got just over a week to decide which to keep.

Those of you that have received yours, please share the band combos you’re using.

I mean I feel like that’s a decision only you can make. You’re the one who has to stare at the watch every day.

Personally though, I’m not really a fan of either. I prefer natural titanium.

‘I know, but wanted some feedback since I have to return one.

Natural Titanium. I bought the Deep Navy Sport Loop. I own a lot of other bands that all seem to work well with the natural Titanium. I especially like my Blue Horizon Sport Band. I also have an original Apple black leather classic buckle that works great for more formal occasions.

Thinking of going for this strap with Titanium. What do you think? I'm also interested in the new Graphite but not so sure which strap goes best with that. Coming from version 2 so will probably keep for a while.
I ordered this as well and look at the delivery date. I think it’s the best combo and it will look very nice with the mid-night blue as well.I believe they’re out till late November 🙄🙄

I have finally decided. Natural Ti is the one I'm keeping out of the 3 watches I bought. I really like it!
so you recommend out of 3 watches to keep the natural titanium.

I ordered a silver aluminum. Then decided I wanted titanium, so I ordered natural and black. (Sure wish I had an Apple store close LOL.)

I’ve only had the black aluminum and have been very happy with it. I’m heavily leaning towards natural but will see in person.

I think it's mostly about shiny vs. matte. If you have no preference with shiny vs. matte, then I would choose Ti as you get an additional year of warranty, an extra exclusive band, and at a weight most seem to find ideal for only an extra hundred. I notice the weight or lack of weight of the steel vs aluminum and got used to both, so weight isn't an issue for me. I have to decide between natural Ti vs. blue aluminum. I had a S3 aluminum in space grey and I didn't like how the aluminum had an "orange peel" or spray-on paint look to it, but the new aluminum are less lumpy. Ti has a brushed look. Have you had steel before? I think shiny steel is the best look, but maybe you had steel versions before and looking for something different.

I hope we don't go to the same party! Just kidding.

The baltic blue looks like a lovely strap. My strap will arrive around 12th November and my watch with the Brown leather loop 19th October.

I ordered a space black ti AW6 with the blue solo loop and it won’t ship until the week before thanksgiving. Oh well.

My black Ti will be here tomorrow but I like the color of the graphite and it’s band way better and it just feels more premium. Sine I have the black ti aw 5 I’m afraid the little differences won’t justify the swap but the different look and feel of the graphite. makes it feel like a new watch. Honestly you can’t go wrong with either. This time I chose looks and something different.

Ti is cool but the durability is the same with the SS in my exp. so I decided I want something different. Hope I can get half for my ti lol. Something tells me it will have bad resell.

I disagree there. The large majority of non-precious metal, premium watches are brushed (or polished) steel and titanium, or some kind of black DLC. The shiny medium grey looks more like a fashion watch finish, to me.

What has surprised me since the beginning is that Apple hasn't offered a plain old brushed steel model. That would go with a ton of bands and be consistent with the luxury watch world, too.

Every company is different. Omega tries all sorts of materials and colors in ceramic. Rolex does ss and pm only. Apple is relatively new to the watch market but outselling everyone so they are experimenting with materials to see what the market likes. They don’t think traditional like some of us do.

Sure, Omega does do that, but their ceramic Speedys are still relatively subdued. The graphite DLC reminds me more of a ceramic Rado, which just isn't my thing, I guess.

I've been saying it since Series 0, but I wish Apple would just make a brushed steel model. I'd likely buy that one every time.

Yes hopefully they will make brushed ss. I think they figure using exp materials on a device that will be obsolete soon is a waste. I gotta say sitting out in the sun looking at the graphite it looks sweet. I’m sold.

I mean, brushed steel would be cheaper to make than titanium or steel DLC, so don't know why they haven't done it, yet.

FWIW, that has been the opposite of what I’ve experienced. I’ve had SS, SBSS, and SBTi. Both SS and SBSS showed signs of wear while my Series 5 SBTi still looks perfect. Buuuuut, I totally understand getting a different color to make it feel like a new watch. That’s what sent me to the land of Titanium.
