I currently have the SBTi Series 5 and I actually like the SB model. I did pick up the Graphite Series 6 models and I didn't really like it so I returned it. My SBTi Series 6 is at the UPS CC in Middleton, WI and I'll be pick it up later today. Pretty excited.

We're practically neighbors!

I think the SBTi would look great with the new charcoal bands.... but the ring. Ugh. Now I wish I could return that and get something darker.

if you're keeping the spouse, then perhaps suggest both switching to silicone bands for "safety"... A couple picture-laden articles on "degloving" should do the trick.

I'm really having a hard time deciding what I want to do. My raw titanium watch arrives next Monday and I just keep going back and forth on whether I want to keep it and return my current graphite steel or keep the steel. The titanium looks nice and would match my white gold wedding band almost perfectly but my usage has always been more along the lines of exercise/sport/activity tracking and I like the black on black look I currently have.

What to dooooo?

Maybe you should go with the SBTI? Best of both worlds?

I think he means on a sport loop, the part that loops through is at the bottom part of the watch facing yourself. As if there is only one correct way to wear a sport loop. What if I like the two pieces of fabric away from me instead of facing me all day? Is that now not "correct?"

I do have a silicone band that I wear when I'm lifting but other than that I work in an office setting so not much risk there.

That doesn't really solve the issue and I could just keep the graphite steel and save $100.

A black watch has never required a matching wedding band. The Graphite is a bit more difficult, since it is a shiny gray finish.

I‘ve had a S5 Natural Ti since launch.

The only scuffs I see are where the lower band attaches. I think it’s from the end of the sport loop rubbing when I take the watch off and expand the loop. I wear this watch all day, every day. Running, biking, swimming, light yard work, washing a car, whatever. It has held up great and I love the material.

That said, this year I can’t decide between SBTi and Natural. I bought both to check them out in person.

For S7, I’m hoping for some cool Ti anodized colors haha!!

You can buff that wear out with the green part of those cheapo dollar store sponge.
My natural Ti AW5 looks brand new.

This year the natural Ti with graphite Milanese loop looks really nice.

My SBTi arrived right now - i like it and it matches VERY GOOD with my SBSS Bracelet which i own since S0 - i canceled my Grey SS ad-hoc, but i did a measurement error with the Charcoal Band , anybody know how to handle this ( i need a few numbers smaller) is it possible to change only the Band with Apple?

I think you have to go to an apple store or call, since you don’t have a separate order number for the band.

Apple Watch Natural Ti just arrived. Looking Great!

To be fair, I have had this band since June. Im trying to break it in more and get it to patina, its not like most leathers. It keeps its color very well ( bad thing for petina lol)

Just got my S6 SBTi 44mm. I was quite surprised to see the difference between S5 and S6. The 2020 model has a stronger but subtle brush that makes it feel even more premium when compared to the S5. Looks a lot different in person, trust me! The pictures don’t justifiy it’s beauty. ( The one with the leather loop is the S6 )

Oh that is nice looking! I wonder if Apple got feedback that the SBTi looked too much like the aluminum and dialed up the brushed finish this year.

I wonder what they did differently? I got the graphite on Friday and really like the look over the ti. The black ti arrived today and I have not opened it. I’m tempted but I already have the black ti 5 so I figured there is no reason to.

You'll need to contact Apple Support. I've heard differing reports. Be interesting to see what the reality is.

Did yours come with a more paper cover and less microfiber fabric out of the box? Mine was like paper. Darn you Apple!! I wanted the premium unboxing experience!!

Pretty sure that's not going to matter with Apple. At minimum they'd open the shrinkwrap to ensure the contents were in there -- shrinkwrap machines are pretty common. ... and in this environment I'd be extremely surprised if returns didn't just go straight back to inspection and cleaning and into refurb inventory.

I Think the Graphite is beautiful but, maybe with a suit or at night. With the SBTi you have “the best of both worlds”. Sporty, stealthy and elegant when paired with leather bands.
