MBA/256GB/16GB -my preorder delivery date of 2nd December has shipped and now has a date of the Monday 23rd, still hoping to get it this weekend. Either way pretty happy with the fact I’m getting it earlier than initially estimated.

The order is still in progress and I haven’t been charged on my creditcard yet (just the standard authorization 0.00 ).

Delivery says 1 December.

Your card won't be charged until it gets to the shipped stage which judging by your delivery date won't be for another week or so as it won't ship until next week unless they are able to bring it forward.

Wow, it's really, really zippy.

One negative first impression though is I don't like the Touch Bar. I hope I'll get used to it or customise it a bit, but it's not very high resolution and find myself wishing I had the function row...

Other than that, it's really on fire setting everything up, and apps open instantly!

Hi all,

I ordered my MacBook Air M1 (basic model) this Monday.

The order is still in progress and I haven’t been charged on my creditcard yet (just the standard authorization 0.00 ).

Delivery says 1 December.

Is it normal that it takes this long for processing the order?

Usually it takes less than 24 hours
I ordered mine yesterday from very, arriving today by RM special delivery. Got it with 12 months BNPL 0%, overall impressed!

I ordered the 8 core GPU MacBook Air, 16GB, 1TB on the evening of the 11th; it's showing as "processing" and "arrives 26 Nov".

They should be legit. I remember a year or so ago they partnered with UCAS and sent offers by email
Thanks, I was looking at upgrading a MBA to 16gb but with the offer here I may just get the base one and put the saving towards a future update based on how well these seem to have been received/performing.

Turning into a farce for me now, in the space of 24 hours it has gone from being delivered next Wednesday to arriving this Friday and it is now suggesting it won't be delivered until 12th Dec.

If that is true I am going to cancel it, I could have had the base MM already and could have it today if I wanted. Went for the 16GB as it was only an extra week at most to wait.

So I just checked and when I ordered my Apple Watch in September it took 5 days to go from the shipping info being provided to the parcel actually arriving with DHL. Guess I’m in for a little wait.

This is kind of what annoys me too. Loyal customers place orders as soon as possible and have to wait days and weeks. However, other people can effectively just walk into their local shop and pick one up same day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for those people, but I do find it frustrating for the rest of us.

Don't mind delays but suggesting it will be delivered within a couple of days and now stating nearly a month is crazy.

Do you think in-store stock will be regularly updated? I'm after MBP 16GB/1TB - yesterday they were available for pick up at Regent Street, this morning just in Grays (worth a day trip) and now there's nothing in London area. Really bummed cause delivery time is 2-3 weeks.

My MacBook Pro, shipped via UPS, was "released by the clearing agency" in China yesterday morning and has gone no where since, just "In Transit". Just put it on a god damn plane already. They could at least say where exactly it's in transit too.

4 years since I got the shakes waiting for a new Mac. Torture.

I've ordered a 16GB version of the MM, but it's not arriving until mid December. It also seems like no retailer I've looked at has the MM with the increased RAM, is that the case?
