4th - 11th Dec.

When people say its arriving on/before their quoted date, are you guys talking about the earliest or latest date?
My MBA 16/1TB ordered on the 21st is 8th - 15th, so will be interesting to see what yours ends up being like!

In my 30+ years of using a Mac, never installed antivirus. Generally not something to worry about on a Mac.
Any malware on a mac is usually something you might be tricked into downloading and running/give your password to. So as long as you don't download from anywhere suspicious, and use common sense, you'll be fine.

To keep this slightly on topic.. MBA 16/1TB ordered on 19th, still Processing.
Thanks revs, my first Mac actually :) coming from Windows

I ordered a MacBook Pro in Space Gray in 16gb/512gb config on 19th November. Was told ETA of 11th-18th December when ordering, orders page now shows "Arrives 18th".

So far, have these delivery times been optimistic, about right, or pessimistic? I keep checking for updates (not necessarily expecting any!) and have managed to persuade myself that I'll somehow magically have it by early December...

Ohh, now showing as "Arrives 10 - 17 Dec".

Did yours show up at the depot? Mine left Stanford same time as yours. No scan since. I have visions of a UPS driver enjoying a greasy burger from a van in a motorway lay-by somewhere.
Nope nothing yet! I live fairly close so not sure what’s happened!? Are they walking? ?

Just ordered through Curry's as I had a gift voucher from work to use and it should be here tomorrow.

I am so excited as this will be my first ever Macbook :)

So he said on the phone that it's probably a mistake, and he can see that it is still at the London hub... he said he couldn't see the notification that it left there at 05:21 this morning either. I couldn't quite make out his reason for the mistake, maybe give them a call too? Press 0 when its reading out the options to go straight to an operator

Apple have now charged me but my order is still 'processing'...does the charge mean that it's about to ship soon?

I woke up to being charged, Preparing to Ship then Shipped all at once following last night‘s Processing stage. So I suspect shipping is imminent in your case

I am in the same boat, spoke to UPS, the operator said they didn’t know why it went to Germany again, and that they would organise delivery for tomorrow, I don’t believe her! I now have Reschedule Delivery Requested, on my tracker now, hope this helps and doesn’t make it worse.

Hmm weird, so she was under the impression that it had actually gone back to Germany? I just spoke to someone else who said again it's in the London hub waiting to be transferred to the Leeds hub.

I just called UPS and the guy said it's in the London Hub and the tracking information is wrong. His only advice was to keep checking for updates. Apple now say it's arriving today. Grrr.
