That's useful. I ordered the same spec on the 26th November and it's still showing as "processing" Delivery is quoted as being on the 11th December and that hasn't changed. I'll just have to be patient and stop checking my Order status several times a day :rolleyes:

Mine's the same, since lunchtime Saturday (MBA 16/512)... it's making me very impatient, this will be my first ever Mac so I'm quite excited.

Honestly, I need to try to reduce the number of times I check the status down to just several a day!

Uk order for 16GB Mac mini M1.
Ordered 3 weeks ago.
Went to 'shipped' yesterday. (December 2nd)
Still in Netherlands today as expected.
Estimated delivery is December 21st.
So my guess is it will be about December 12th.

Ordered 3 weeks ago, ie when they were released?n If so, surely yours should have arrived by now as that's a long wait.

Posting here seems to have done the trick, in that placebo sort of way. Overnight my order went to 'Processing' and my card was charged, then in the last hour it's flipped to 'Shipped' and there's a DPD handover link (which for now just notes that they're expecting it, and gives the parcel location as 'Sender'). App delivery date is still showing as 10th, but the website says Friday 4th and in much bigger letters, so I'm choosing to believe that one.

MBP 16Gb/1Tb, ordered 18th November with a delivery estimate of 3-10th December. 'Express delivery'.

Currently in "Netherlands", been like this for 3 days #Eindhovengang

Hope it arrives this week, but probably not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Based on all the posts I’ve read, both recent ones and ones from previous launches... it seems on average it’s about 5 days that the status “hangs” in the Netherlands.

some shippers provide the China part of the delivery. But overall nothing motors forward until it arrives in the Netherlands.

likely that full supply chain shipping gets setup at factory.

24 hours from factory to airport.

48 hours from airport to netherlands

24 hours turn around at local shipment depo in Netherlands at which point fresh tracking happens upon receipt.

24 hours ish (excluding weekends) to fly to a uk airport and get out for delivery.
 
So I received my MacBook Pro 16/512 this morning! Everything is great apart from this strange white powder/residue all over the charging cable, and it absolutely stinks! Very strange plastic smell to the cable, very odd.

Same just happened to me! Tracking updated to Amsterdam. DHL also sent a message that they're expecting delivery tomorrow! LEZZZZ GOOOO

Happy that things are moving for you guys. No update here since receiving shipping email on Saturday. I'd have thought ours would be on the same plane?

Anyway, how is it some people in the UK are getting Express delivery? I've never seen that option with Apple.

Seems that "standard delivery" is on orders that Apple Stores wouldn't normally stock and "express" is offered on configs that Apple would normally stock. If you tweak the config on the Apple site you can see the delivery options change - seems that 16GB/1TB (and I think the base config) is an express order, whilst others aren't.

Edit: to clarify, standard often means shipping direct from China as well (i.e. BTO). This is also just based on putting pieces together from this thread and the main one, so we might be wrong!

Sorry yours isn’t showing movement. Hang in there!

The express thing is interesting. I can’t remember if I had a choice, but it does seem that I happened on a spec which is held by stores. My unit appears to be coming from Hinckley, but it’s still only within the original delivery window I was quoted - it’s not coming early, as some people are finding.

So any guesstimates on likely delivery date for a 16/512 MBA placed today?? Website said 21/12 -> 4/1 when I placed it, and Apple Store app now says Arrives 4 Jan :(
 
I’m still stuck on processing after being charged on Tuesday. Really thought it would have been dispatched by now

You will probably get it before Christmas unless there are any issues. My first delivery window was 7-14th and I am getting it tomorrow (4th). Once it shipped it predicted the 9th
 
Anyone ordered a maxed out Air with 8C GPU/16GB/2TB? It looks like over the last couple of days shipping times jumped. I could’ve sworn it was just about delivery in December 2020 but when I finally ordered yesterday delivery is expected 27 January🙁

I knew I shouldn’t have procrastinated on ordering it! 🙂

I placed an order three hours ago for exactly that configuration (in silver) but for delivery to Australia and have an expected delivery date of 4 January. 🤔
