Even your northern brothers in Dallas are going to see between -2°F and 0°F on Monday. The record low in Dallas was -8°F back in 1899. The other record lows were from -3°F and up. We're gonna be tying or breaking some records.

WTH??? That is 0 celcius! We are -4 here in Geneva never thought San Antonio Texas would be almost as cold as Switzerland in my life? At least not as cold as Ottawa where I did my Masters many years ago.
My husband will be getting a hotel room paid for Sunday night and possibly Monday night as well. Our apartment is threatening us that if a pipe bursts they'll sue us. I'm going to run the drip with cold and hot water like they asked and keep the cabinets open so warm air can get in. I lived in Alaska before and I know nobody is prepared for what's coming here in Texas.

We are expecting a high of about 20 today. Time to unzip the jackets!!!

We're supposed to be pushing 40 next week, so after this long-duration cold snap we've had I'll probably be going to work WITHOUT the jacket and cracking the windows open while I'm driving! It's going to feel pretty balmy around here!

North Vancouver
Well I was brought up in Vancouver which has a climate similar to Seattle so mostly rain and grey. However I have also lived in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Ontario (also did my M.A. in Ottawa) so can confirm!! By the way it was a balmy 17 degrees (celcius) here in Geneva so yea spring is on the way early.

Lived in Montreal for 20 years - lots of snow - Calgary 80's for 11 years very cold sometimes - Nova Scotia born and raised - Love Vancouver very mild 👍

Do you feel that was the right joke to make considering people recently dying due to snow and lack of power? I mean, your joke is based on nothing but you "suffering" from a bit of snow outside being just as "reliefworthy" as conditions bad enough to kill people; so… you know… that joke still sits right with you now that they've had a chance to think about it?

We just picked up another ~14” of fresh powder. ~91” total for the year as of Wednesday. Oh, and it’s 3°. We’re now slated to reach 110” by May. But hey, spring is on the way................eventually.
