At least in my part of Upstate NYS Spring Weather of 50 degrees F was here two days ago! It’s been in 40s sense! I sure hope old Man Winter has finally kicked to bucket!

Doesn't look like it, unfortunately! Here in NYC we're back to 25 degrees with gusty 30mph winds. All that good weather was just a tease! :p

Hope all you folks in Colorado and Wyoming are staying safe!

Sunday afternoon we got about 12" snow although they forecasted more.
The weather did not organize optimize for snow. The storm was mostly rain, 1" of rain = 9" of snow. A fair portion of the snow melted before it hit the ground too
-just another Monday today in the valley
-the storm dumped twice as much in the mountains

2 weeks ago we had a previous snow storm of 12".
only two snow storms for this winter so it was a big dry winter.

Brrrr!!! I was just so enjoying the warmer temperatures we've had here in the DC area lately and now we're back to the 40's and the cold stuff! Turned the heat back on. This shouldn't last too long, though, and in a few days we'll start warming up again. Guess I shouldn't complain, though, as some of you folks in other parts of this country have been hit hard again..... Hang in there, this, too, will pass.

Not that cold, but cold enough for all snow to stay. -5/-10 C˚ / 20F˚
Lots and lots of snow, not sure I want to take my electric bicycle with good winter tires and go grocery shopping even.
Veggies and fruits are almost done, but I can eat quinoa, rice, buckwheat and the veggies and other stuff I find in the freezer a few days. The roads looks chaotic, figure the bike roads are even worse.
I managed a short walk yesterday to inspect the areas around.
Probably better to the week, hopefully. When the city have done more snow removal on the streets.

Nah, I stay in bed and read, write, and surf on my MBA/iPadMini ☃️🌨❄️😊

Had an adventure on snow filled streets yesterday. I had fun, outdoors are always refreshing.
Could fill up my fresh veggies and food storage 😁
Didn't see any other bicycles around though. I have good studded tires. Without that, NO, wouldn't made it.
I met a guy running in the snow....good and refreshing outdoor training, might do that soon.
Lots of snow everywhere.... 🥶☃️
Tried to avoid the bike roads. Car roads are much better.

My secret this time of year is long underwear. More layers the better.

It has actually hit the mid to high 40's in sunny southern California. Burrrrrr. Oh and we are having or had, haven't been outside since 0600 hours, rain this morning. Between the cold and the rain, it was very hard to get motivated for work today.

Sigh... another Atlantic storm pasting Scotland - rain/sleet/snow and 70+ mph gusts. Can't wear down in these conditions so resorting to wearing a jacket with synthetic pile (actually insulates well even when wet, but feels like you're wearing a carpet because basically you are 🤣).

Yup. 4 degrees where I am. This is normal though. We've were just spoiled for a few years. We had -20 temps (real, not wind chill) a couple of years ago.
The wind is cranking right now. Staying inside. Just a quick polar hit as temps rebound Wednesday. But more cold for the weekend. Looks like the pattern finally shifted.

Yup. My SoCal cousin was aghast at the 36 degree temp last week because her dog didn't want to stay outside for very long. That's mild, not cold. Depends on what you're used to I guess.

Just back from the grocery store. Not many people there - I guess they all did their shopping yesterday when it was warmer.

It's a mere 24° here in the Northern Virginia suburbs of DC right now. Brrrrrr! I have to take my car in for an oil change pretty soon but today is not the time for that. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer, a much more normal mid-40's, so I'll do it then. We've still got some remnants of last week's snow hanging around, as even though the sun is out the air is too cold to melt the stuff.

I schedule stuff like getting gasoline or going outside on warmer days.

One task I really hate when it is cold is adding air to tires. You add the air because the lower temps lower your air pressure but your fingers get numb on the valve and pump device.

Actually snow will melt in cold weather, with the sun out it turns into a gas and evaporates.

Yup... same, we hit a few days in the 30's. For us sunny southern cal folks, who live near the beach, that is freaking freezing/tundra/you have been banished to the mountains of Siberia weather lol...

Yeah and it's going to be 80 here today. Maybe I'll go to the beach...

I love trolling my friends in the frigid north with our weather here. I mean, until the fires start.

I'm a California boy at heart, but 5+ years of being in NYC has toughened me up to where the 30s are tolerable, the 20s feel cold, but dropping down into the teens (like now) crosses firmly into my bitching threshold. :)
