I’ve waited to upgrade since 2018 from my 11” for the screen tech to come to the 11”. I’ve even had a 12.9 since which I sold as felt too big.
Therefore of course I ordered the 11” M4 immediately…then cancelled and ordered the 13”. What’s wrong with me?!
I was also one of those who initially bought the 12.9” iPad Pro in 2018, then returned it for the 11” model as I found it too unwieldy for my needs.

Thoughts and First Impressions on the New iPad Pros from Apple’s Event in London
I just came back to my hotel from the media event Apple held earlier today in London at their Battersea Power Station headquarters. I had high expectations for the new generation of iPad Pros that Apple unveiled today – some of which were exceeded by reality (hardware), and others that were...

The 11” iPad Pro features a bigger battery than before, going from a 28.65-watt-hour battery to a 31.29-watt-hour one, and the device only lost 20g and 0.6mm. Conversely, the big iPad Pro features a smaller battery than before, going from a 40.88-watt-hour battery to a 38.99-watt-hour one, and the device has lost 1.3mm and 103g.
The 11” iPad Pro is still the same iPad we all know and love, just with a better screen and processor. It’s the safe choice, it’s a direct 1-for-1 replacement for my current iPad, and life goes on.
However, it sounds like the 13” iPad has made the most significant leap in terms of weight reduction, and I really want to try it out for myself in person.
