John Lewis have confirmed (via email) that my 13” Pro will be delivered on the 15th but won’t confirm via which courier until it been dispatched…don’t suppose anyone here knows who they use?

Praying for dpd…god help me if it’s yodel!

I think with higher value things they are more likely to send by DPD. was going to order from them using the collection service then saw only doing home delivery on the iPads.

I’ve got a question to all those who have preordered a new iPad Pro or even to those who are on the fence. With Apple using a version of the M4 Chip with a 9-core CPU on the 256GB & 512GB models of the iPad Pro, has it made you want to go up to the 1TB / 2TB model to get the full performance (10-core CPU) or has it not affected your decision?

Not remotely bothered. Its already overpowered for my needs

Sure it'd be nice to have more RAM and 1 extra core, but even the M1 iPad Pro was overpowered for iPadOS, so this isn't going to be even remotely noticeable in my opinion. And given the exorbitant cost of 1TB+, I don't think it will be a factor for most, they're paying that much because they need the storage, not for the RAM, 1 extra core.

I just checked the price again, an extra £600 to go from 256gb to 1tb. That's 60% of the price of the 256gb!

I think I'd rather buy an Air with the £600 and have an air and pro.
yeah me too. At the specced-out levels for iPad is where I can understand the shock and criticism about how expensive the Pros are — I don't think the base model is obscene, and I wouldn't tell anyone else how to spend their money, but looking at the product I can't see any but the most niche users needing the 2TB 10-core 16gb RAM version. The iPad supports external storage and the M4 lets you edit videos that are stored on an external drive, which has been a significant issue in the past for why someone needed more internal storage.

I cancelled my 512GB, reordered 1TB purely down to this.

I’ve got absolutely no need for any of the differences; storage, RAM or addition core. I wish I could tell you more, I’m just weak!

EE just told me my order was cancelled due to no stock which is odd considering it’s a pre order.

Anyone else get told similar
Which one did you order? I Ordered the 1TB Space Black 13inch (non nano) Showed delivery on launch day when I ordered.

Ordered with EE last night for release date delivery, 13 Pro space back 256GB eSIM

The excitement is building.

I’ve ordered the air with 256 gig. I spoke to someone else on chat and they now say it’s being delivered on Tuesday before 6pm.. shame the app or site doesn’t let you track progress of the order. I can’t even see it on my account.

Could you send links? Very seems to be offering extortionate interest rates and I can't find anything on Amazon about paying in instalments.

Use By Now Pay Later on Very and you get 12 months. If you pay it all off in that time, you pay 0% interest. The high % rate is only if you don't pay it in full by 12 months.

No the only aspect that might have tempted me to spend more was the nano screen but wasn't willing to spend the 1TB price to get it. My usage does not merit the increased performance and 256gb is plenty for me - currently got about 50gb available but need to give it a thorough spring clean!

It won't be delivered on Tuesday. It will be the 15th.

Sometimes don’t update tracking info until day of delivery. Ugh.

It doesn’t make sense unless you use it professionally and know that the extra core and/or RAM is relevant to your workflow. Otherwise, save the money, and together with trade-in it might well pay for a new iPad Pro in 2-3 years that will be more powerful anyway.
