I mean, you said not usually. Why this time? I’m the same, not got before but thinking of it this time. Trying to decide.
Cost. I’ve bought all my other iPads secondhand so I wasn’t overly concerned about £400. I bought the M4 new so it’s more expensive and it would sting if I had to replace it myself.

My black M4 Pro is burning up big time in the heat outside.

This is the UK too!

I’m thinking, I might get a while folio to offset that problem. My coloured iPhone doesn’t heat up as much as this iPad.

Anyone else found that the white folio keeps it a little cooler outside in the sun? I love reading the news in the lovely weather!

BEATS STUDIO PRO all 4 colours for sale at EE. On their website £199.00, or £198 = £18 a month for 11 months if you have a contract with them.

Oh wow, and this is just from normal use?

Hey all

I know the iPad only comes with a cable and not a charger.
What is the best charger for the iPad?

I have heard Anker is really good as well
The Belkin is a fast charger right....?
30W from each port which I find is fine. The iPad can take a higher charging rate I believe, although some people seem to struggle to get much more than 38W. Anker is a good name as well

I just received my iPad from EE and the box of the iPad is slightly boxed in around the edges/damaged. I am wondering if I should return it or should I open it and see if the actual iPad is damaged?

The iPad came from EE in a silver bag which I find weird as a bag offers literally no protection especially when it is being transported in a van etc. Surely they should put the iPad in a large box?

Is it still in the sealed Apple box? If so the iPad should be fine. The tabs on the box should be intact.

Anyone recommend any good eSIM deals? Looking for something cheap as would likely only be occasional use but would like the flexibility over tethering.

Mine was the same. Contents not damaged so I kept mine

Well I purchased straight from Apple… folio case came in a massively oversized box with loads of internal corrugated paper padding… iPad Pro came just in a close fitting outer box with no internal padding… go figure 🤔🤔

Been waiting on the “back to school” promotion to start in the UK, which it has now. Bit stingy on iPads this year - £80 gift card whereas with a MBA, which start at the same price £899 on the Education Store, you get a £100 card.
Anyway plumped for the 11 inch iPP this time. It’s an upgrade from my 2020 4th Gen 12.9 inch iPP. Opted for the more portable form factor this time.
Just waiting on DHL to deliver…

I just used the one on the iPad in settings. Costs £5 a month and so far have been great. Not sure what you get for that but I don't travel much. Used it on a recent trip to Scotland and it worked fine and 5G.

Anyone can recommend a good quality case to use with when on the go and not using the magic keyboard? I have heard many people say the Apple Folio case is overrated and not worth the price. I also don't like the fact the case does not cover the sides of the iPad like the speakers...

IDMobile now offer eSIM, they use the 3 network. Very fast 5G if you can get it. Tesco Mobile also offer esims but I don’t think they do data only or monthly rolling contracts.
