I've not had anything through from EE yet. The text I got saying your order is confirmed has a link for the latest updates but that just says "sorry, we cant show your order details right now, Don't worry, we'll keep you updated on the progress of your order by text or email. Keep an eye out for these updates from EE or from our courier DPD."

I'm looking forward to it, but I am a bit nervous about losing my jailbreak for however long it takes. The main one is something I can't believe they don't allow, youtube to continuing playing in the background. If anyone knows a way around that it would save me having to carry my old iphone8 with my mifi for my commute to work.

If you do ever claim on your home insurance your premium will most cases increase next renewal so it’s never ideal.

I've joined the club, didn't think I would this year as my X still going well but couldn't resist ;)

went for the pro max this time (upgrade on EE) which they said will arrive Friday

I think this policy is often not enforced. I’ve received quite a few deliveries from various mobile carriers and not one courier has asked for id even though the shipping email clearly stated id was needed. Also, my wife has been able to accept these parcels, and I hers. (without showing id). But it’s of course best to plan for them to be asking for id.

Don't you need to install iOS 13 to restore from backup though?

Anyone on Sky Mobile have experience with their order updates? Ordered mine on Friday and the guy on the phone said it would be delivered on the 20th, but the order status just says 'Pre-Order' and 'We'll be in touch'.

Actually, you can just view that particular order online and you can pay early the full amount or a single upcoming instalment direct through the webshop. I’ve noticed though this option may differ between iPhone- and iPad-app. But it’s for sure possible to do on the iPad-app and on a computer.

This is because often they're tracked by how fast they get their deliveries done and sometimes only paid for each delivery made, so the more time they spend at a house checking ID and copying info down the longer their overall day is to get all the deliveries done.

No you're fine restoring from an iOS 12 backup. It's the other way around you'd have a problem. eg, iOS 13.1 beta to iOS 13.0 GM

Apple Regent Street is always busy but I'm interested to see if there's a queue for walk-in purchases.
I've given myself 2.5hrs from my check-in time to get setup haha

I didn't realise they opened early for launch day so reserved for after work in the evening. It's gonna be a very slow day on Friday!

last year I reserved mine at 6pm (after work), but I was in the line for nearly two hours and left the store at 8:30pm

so this time I reserved mine at 8am, hoping I wont have to wait that long, but let’s see.

Annoyed with myself as didn’t realise Amazon would have the new iPhones so quickly as would rather have ordered with them and chopped the payments up. And now it’s too late to cancel my Apple order as it is preparing for dispatch.
 
Just paid off my XS Max's outstanding balance on iPhone Payments with Barclays. Reasonably smooth over their automated system, keying in account and card numbers.

Should put me back in Barclay's good graces, credit check-wise. My other ace up my sleeve is the Sainsbury's credit card, which is notoriously difficult to be approved for, so should stand for something.
