Does anyone know how you can move your eSIM from existing iPhone to new one? Is it automatically restored with a backup or do you have to talk to the carrier? I’m with EE btw. I also have an Apple Watch S4 cellular with an EE plan.

Fundamentally disagree (although I choose not to use them) - a knife won’t do any damage no matter how hard you press. The problem is the magic pocket dust that happens to be above a certain level of hardness, and scratches the phone like crazy! I have scratches all over my XS Max and I’ve only ever had the phone alone in one of my trouser pockets. Not used a screen protector on my X for the last two years and there’s not a single scratch on it, and it’s been in my pockets with keys etc daily, dropped and so on. Unless you take a knife to purposely try and scratch the screen I really don’t think there’s a need for them anymore
Just taken my screen protector off my XS Max as it’ll be off for trade in tomorrow, the one I had fitted in the apple store as soon as I picked it up on launch day last year. The phone feels so good without it! And seeing as it didn’t have a mark on it I’m so tempted to go without on the new phone.
Yup...10:00am...u?
(Shudder)
I remember queuing there for iPhone 4 launch... got there before 7 and left the store after 11. Could not get the storage size I wanted, only the smallest was available.
after all that the phone was faulty and had to go back a week later.... was offered a refurb or a refund... not a new replacement.
then took weeks to get a new one.
Vowed never again to wait in line.
hopefully things are better now
Morning all... 👋🏻
I’m 2 hours ahead of UK time, but excited to see those that get their new phones today. 🙏🏻
You need to contact/visit EE and obtain a replacement eSIM. eSIMs don't migrate with your iPhone backup to a new device, but they will restore to the same device.
If your local EE store has eSIM packs in stock, make sure they only move your number to an eSIM and don't issue you with a totally new number and line. If they don't have any in stock, just ask them to migrate your number to a physical SIM and contact EE's helpline.
Morning!! Gonna be a long day. Please tell me that Gif relates to a real thing![]()

Took my screen protector off last week. Had the Belkin invisi glass one from launch. The screen picked up quite alot of scratches in just a few days. That being said I work in a builders merchant so it gets a beating!Just taken my screen protector off my XS Max as it’ll be off for trade in tomorrow, the one I had fitted in the apple store as soon as I picked it up on launch day last year.
