My status has changed to “preparing to ship” with express shipping. My delivery date is between September 30th and October 7th. I’m really hoping it’s 30th September so I can test out the new camera at a comedy show I’m going to on the 4th October.

Edit - just checked the bank, they did take the payment and then refunded it 2 days later.

I now stick with CPW for most trade ins as by the time I factor in a box, packaging materials, special delivery etc. I haven't really saved anything. Probably overkill on the packaging but better to be sure i always think.
 
How long did peoples iPhones take to update from iCloud?

mine has taken 2 hours so far, and moving slow :(

they do pay same day (the same day the phone is processed) via faster payments.

I sent mine on Saturday and have heard nothing yet ... trying to be chill about it, they were excellent for me last year!
 
Still no update from Carphone warehouse on my pro Max - what’s the point of pre-ordering on the first day that you could, if it’s going to take until 8th October....

I ordered my 11 pro max from them on Friday and it was in the store Saturday.
 
Just a note. We locked in my price with Envirofone on 10th September for my iPhone X. I was planning to post it to them on release day.

They sent out a pre-paid pack to send it safely. A couple of days before release day they sent me an email offering to extend my quote by a week (nice breathing room.) No need to include boxes, chargers, cables either.

I posted my X to them yesterday. I put their pack inside a Jiffy bag and used RMSD for insurance. Just had the confirmation that my phone is good and that full payment will be in the bank tomorrow.

Will definitely use Envirofone again.
