I am FUMING!! Music Magpie are shady, underhand and after this I will NEVER deal with them again. Price of £260 locked in on the Tuesday 10th September. Item received Monday 23rd September. They didn't process it until this morning, then revise my offer to £190 as its outside of the 14 days!! They have purposely held off processing it so they can knock the price down! Absolute cretins!

To be honest I think the best option is to trade it in locally at Carphone Warehouse.

Traded my wife's X 64GB at CPW yesterday, money received today.
Though I was instructed to email with a screenshot to get the price match +£10, will then get sent a cheque for the extra which will be £30.

Yet to receive a reply.

Received an email reply yesterday informing me to expect the cheque within 28 days.
Pretty happy with the in-store CPW trade in experience.

Quick update on my beautiful new 11 Pro Max after using it for 4 days. It is noticeably longer on battery life, all the photo stuff is amazing and definite improvement on my XS Max and, most importantly, it hasn’t slipped off the arm of my chair even once!!! So much safer than the XS Max and I LOVE being caseless and not scared of it falling!!

Try Plunc. They dealt with mine quickly and efficiently, and paid the exact price offered. I'm well and truly sworn off Music Magpie now after the way they've dealt with me!

Fairly standard for them. I queried why mine was taking so long to process when the tracking shows it as delivered. They gave me some BS that delivered only meant delivered as far as Royal Mail are concerned, but that the parcel had not received its final destination. They clearly appear ship to one location, and then apparently move items to another (I'm going to hazard a guess these locations are in reality only actually next door to each other!).

It seems like a really dubious practice.
 
Finally. Phone is now 20 minutes away.

Only thing that can stop this delivery happening now is if I'm sucked into a time portal that swaps me for myself in another dimension where Steve Jobs was never born.

Not wanting to gloat........ but my 3rd MM item has been acknowledged and paid today. That's 3 devices all paid having been posted on Saturday. Unfortunately I think that none of these companies are perfect, and as someone said earlier will always be spectrum of experiences due to the sheer number of devices they receive.

This is quite scandalous. The item was delivered to and by the required time. If they want something delivered to the warehouse then have it delivered to the warehouse and not somewhere else. It is not up to the customer to chose where the item is sent or picked up. They have a posting label and this is where it is sent and was delivered in time. I would be livid.

TBH it might be because you're a S***S fan........lol
