Ordered on the day of the keynote! Came last monday
It’s an nice dark brushed finish and a nice change from the blingy ss space black. That was a fingerprint magnet which this isn’t.
Also split screen apps! I still have the ceramic S10+ it’s a fab bit of tech and the finish is stunning but use it as a business phone now. Screen is still stunning and is whiter than my 11 Pro Max.

Collected my new Midnight Green 11 Pro today! It's really lovely, the size feels great (coming from a XS Max which ended up being just a bit too big), and the new camera is really fun to play with. The person serving us at the Apple Store was nice and very patient, even though we were going through the process of changing three iPhones on the upgrade programme.
Just waiting for it to get dark so I can try out Night Mode a bit more...

Went back to Apple today and they fitted a new screen protector. This one's perfect and no colours "peeping" over the edge of it. The first one must of been slightly off. New one is perfect.
Do Apple for glass screen protectors now? They stopped doing it before. I usually fit the glass ones myself. I can do a decent job with those but the film ones I always had to have them fitted otherwise it was bubble city😂
I haven’t really noticed any improvements in sound quality but I can see the screen is an improvement over my Xs max.

They use a machine to fit them. There’s an plastic one but the glass one is a lot better.

That’s a fair suggestion, however it’s showing as “unavailable for pickup” at my nearest Apple Store and as it’s a good hour away from me I’m not desperate enough to drive there on the off chance they’ve got one in stock.

I ordered this from amazon, I downloaded an ampere from app store and it’s confusing. It tells me it’s fast charging, but when I test it, it says it’s slow charging.
it’s doing about 1% a minute which seems fast, however according to phonearena they got 24% in 15 minutes.
can anyone suggest a charging cable?

I went from X to 11 Pro, and the difference in battery life and camera is pretty huge, that's enough reason for an upgrade imo. But each to their own
Agreed camera and battery were great, I more than likely will buy the 11 Pro in a few months time 2nd hand and get it a bit cheaper, just not enough right now to justify the price
