iPhone 11 UK iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max (2019) Orders and Dispatch Thread

Not to start an argument as this is the iphone pre-order thread but I am saving my EE upgrade for a Galaxy Fold (which supposedly is meant to be out on Wednesday) even though they haven't put any price plans up.

I am in both cases with 3 (when the site works) and EE (when Fold is available) doing it online so I have 14 days to change my mind because I really am not sure about either phone.

I really feel underwhelmed by Apple this year...

I have had bad customer service experience with them and they’re also overpriced. Service wise seems good but this depends on the area, of course and I doubt others will be worse...

Been with EE for a few years. always had good service and only every needed to call CS twice. Both times it seemed that my data didnt refresh and both times EE gave me the data back without question..

Provider phones are always more limited because in most countries they still like to supply them locked (some countries this is actually illegal ) and therefore its a custom run from Apple

I have some sympathy with Apple here, as the amount of providers in different countries must be dizzying ....

Topcashback is currently offering £100 cashback, but that's hit and miss.

They seem to be offering an extra £50 for the iPhone X Trade in, so giving £510 for my iPhone X 256gb

If I keep it two years that's equivalent of around £61 a month (which makes me a feel a bit better about the big outlay)

Now got a week of deciding whether I buy it outright if iUP applications gets declined.

It is! I went 0% credit card last time (X) but that was a mistake as didn't pay it all off and sent more on the card!

so have upgraded finally with EE. Anyone upgraded on launch day before with EE? are they good at getting devices out on release day ?

Variable...... I got an account credit when the ballsed up a few years back but to be fair that was when Apple were low on stock with a particular model/colour way due to manufacturing problems..Can t remembers the release now.

EE quoted me on 20th or up to 14 days.

Is everyone ordering the Green one purely because it's the new colour...?

None of the colours before have appealed to me. They’re always too pastel or too bright. But green, and particularly a dark, or matte green, is my favourite colour after black.

I was sorely tempted by space grey, as all my previous phones have been black or space grey. And I think, had space grey been a darker shade, I would have gone with it.

We’ll see what it looks like in the flesh. Hope I like it, hoping this’ll last me a couple of years before I need to upgrade my phone again.

This was exactly my thinking. If the space grey was darker I would have got it but I went green and not space grey or black for the first time.

Where did you get the extra £50 for iPhone X trade in? I’ve got mine locked in with them for £410 for my 64GB X.

I can't see it advertised on a banner but its at the bottom of the iPhone 11 page and also in the 'i' information link next to the trade-in offer on same page.

(I've screen grabbed it in-case they deny it)

Please note: Both the trade in and purchase has to be done together either online or in store. You can’t purchase your new phone online and trade in in store. The additional £50 won’t be visible online when trading in but will be applied once the device is received and checked at our warehouse. Any additional trade-in value will be given via bank transfer.
