Best place in the UK to order Peel, Elago or Totalle cases? I don't really want to have to ship it in from their site.

Do none of you use car mounts that require magnets? I love clear cases but can't use them with those. All other mounts I've tried have been rubbish.

Elago cases are on Amazon

Click on that and it brings this up
Strange, still works for me. Maybe it's because I'd applied a number of filters on brand etc as I found it hard to filter out the noise of all the third party cases. Also maybe because I'd done via safari rather than the app

Agreed.

However, the silver is probably the most versatile in terms of compatibility with the widest array of case colours - it should look decent with practically any colour.

The green and gold, much less so. Space grey is probably somewhere in the middle.

Yes loved my silver X, and changed it up for a gold Xs last year. Both times in a case so made little difference. Probably came out the case 3 times in 12 months.. if that.

That’s why I’m preferring the clear case this time, at least the midnight green can be seen

Can anyone see their order on UPS yet? Some people in the US are now starting to see theirs, so I’m just wondering if anyone in the UK can yet.

No. You won’t see anything with ups. Phones being delivered will come Hinckley/Syncreon who will pass onto the courier, usually Uk mail or dpd. At this point you’ll see your tracking details, some time Thursday most likely.

Just ordered apples clear 11 iPhone pro max case maybe stupid seeing as I ordered the clear case kick stand from spigen but oh well different case for different events I guess

Personally I think the official Apple clear case is over priced for what you get. You can get clear cases by other brands which are just as good if not in some cases better for a fraction of the price. I’ve decided to go with the 11 Pro Max version of the one I currently use with my Xs Max. Granted all clear cases eventually go yellow as has mine and so will the Apple one but for the cost of a cheaper but just as good third party case you can justify a replacement.

That one has served me well along with the full coverage glass screen protector by the same brand as I’ve dropped my current iPhone several times. It has a hard “glass” back which offers great protection.

I’ve ordered the green 11 Max Pro on my credit card but really want to go on the Upgrade programme.

I know I’ve asked this before but what do you think the chances are of Apple letting me go to the store and refunding the phone then letting me pay on the upgrade programme?

As I say, I know this “can” be done but in reality how likely are they to do it? Thanks.

Haha I’ll say again I did the same with the iPhone X. Bought it outright, refunded it and took it on iup

‘I should totally have done that with my 8:30 pickup phone which I accidentally paid for (wanted reservation).

If I buy an Apple one and it goes yellow it’s going straight back. I will not accept paying £45 and it going yellow

Hmm.

Rang Vodafone as my SIM only is coming to an end. Didn’t expect anything competitive. Currently paying £18 for 20GB

For sim only they offered £17 for 20GB so a pound a month. Eh.

But for phones they offered iPhone 11 64GB, unlimited data (10mb/s max) - no up front and £50pm. Which actually isn’t too bad?

Stuck with VF for at least a year as I have my watch on contract with them

May still go iUP for monthly AppleCare (£40pm), or payments and third party insurance (30pm)

I posted this ringke clear case for the 11 pro max a couple days ago. Brilliant quality and lasted all year for my Xs max

there is now a 40 percent off coupon code on amazon today. https://amzn.to/2AqoElT

I’ve had my clear apple case for my XR for nearly a year and it isn’t yellow

Ive used the Supcase with my iPhone XS Max as it doesn't yellow - and I like the black border.
Have purchased the same for the 11 Pro Max - love the look with the silver handset.

And thanks again! Just wondering if anyone else has done the same. Trying to see what the chances are.

Can’t see a problem really but you know how sometimes bureaucracy doesn’t make sense.

It should be ok, but it depends who you speak to on the day. As they will be busy some people may not want to go the extra mile to help and just say no..

In the past Apple retail have been amazing, but I have noticed them change over the years (in the UK specifically) and they are nowhere near as good as they once were. Shame, as it was always an excellent experience!

I haven’t done it but I’m fairly certain it’s a well known thing that they do. I was told last year I could do it when I went in to get AppleCare for my XS +

Make sure they refund you into a gift card. If they don’t and you fail the credit check then if you don’t have spare cash you could be waiting days or the refund to come through
