I thought the same about CPW last year but I ordered an XS in gold on the day before release and it actually came on the release day!
Same here, ordered about an hour afte orders went live on my X 2 years ago from CPW and easily walked in store to pick it up on release day, and they’re still offering me 460 for it today, 5 days after the keynote!

Tbh I feel like lessons learnt, next year I will for sure reserve to purchase in store whether I finance or whatever at least I will have a hand set. I’m guessing that’s correct

It seems like they just put these orders through as new no matter what time was originally completed

Yeah..seems so. I might try to buy it from somewhere else if delivery date is too late but i wanted that financing option..

So did I.... I'm chatting to Amazon atm lets see what they say and if I can secure for Friday I will call Apple to cancel my order tomorrow
[doublepost=1568571377][/doublepost]NOTE: Amazon just confirm: when you place the order by one day delivery then you would get this by 21st sep

Just ordered the mophie 3 in 1 charging stand....got tired of finding a wireless charger to use separately for my air pods...least it solves the issue of charging phone, watch and air pods.

Delivery dates slipped and no instalments on Amazon

I just ordered pro max silver 64gb for delivery on 20th sept from apple. That is still showing 20th sept delivery. This time i have paid full upfront. Now if my financing option one is approved for a 20th sept delivery date i will cancel this one.

Can I Ask why you got it on finance though as it isn't interest free.

If you wanted interest free then options would have been Amazon (5 months) or Apple on the iPhone Program which splits the handset cost over 20 months and where you could have reserved the handset for pickup on Friday and then do the paperwork inshore.

I think just take a deep breath and call Apple tomorrow before ordering from every shop on the internet...lol

I've been with O2 for years now, but this year is the first time I won't be getting the device from them. 3 year contracts will be fine for lots of people, but doubt any of those people are on this forum! No upgrade incentive after 12 or even 24 months AFAIK either.
I am with O2 for 10 years now and I asked about an upgrade and I get nothing in addition or this. I told them I could get a better contract through Carphone Warehouse but they still could not match it. EE appears to have far more attractive offers such as several months free Apple Music, Prime and or BT sports. I have stuck with them but offer no incentives for loyalty.
