when you turn on your new phone bring your old phone near it (before you have wiped it or anything) and you'll see it pop up on your new phone asking if you want to replace the old phone with the new one and transfer everything over, its very straight forward
For the first half, you only get credit the payment when you send the phone back, so you don't have to return it.

EE does not support Quick Start, so you'll need to call them up to request a new eSIM.

If you have paid for it, it will be held for at least a week, and you will receive an email reminder before the order is cancelled.
Are you paying for it online for in store pick up ? If so when you do that you can choose a day and a time slot for pickup. So as long as there is slot availability on that day you should just be able to do that.
Wouldn't it be better to get it out of the way before the new one arrives, then you could enjoy your new iPhone without any bother at all?
So I got the MagSafe charger today from the Apple store. I tried it with my 11 Pro Max quickly and it does connect wirelessly to charge however it does not attach to the phone with or without a case. I presume then the iPhone 12‘s have a magnet on the inside on the back for this.
