Tried webchat with EE

Seems a little screw up so will need to ring them up to see what happens

Asked for the 100GB sim deal but said because I have student discount on my current plan if I get a new code she can get it for £16 per month. gave her a new code from student beans. she upgraded by plan etc said it’s all done.

30 mins later get a text saying student discount has now been removed from my price plan.
another 15 mins another text saying she can’t get the discount entered and it should of been done on the website by myself

They would budge less than £20 with the 20% discount
They're not budging with the 20% discount for students and the £20 plan.

Wow, I knew that O2 were slow at home. I didn't realise they were this slow..!

I didn't manage to get an EE PAYG SIM on the way home but surely they can't be any worse than this?

They screwed up my order too... the web chat people were vague/rude/dismissive... eventually they gave me the number for the Digital Sales team on 0800 079 0531 and within ten minutes they'd put it all right for me.

Give them a go when you get a chance. I was ready to switch away earlier after my online chat, but I'm cautiously back to being a happy customer again now. 😆 (Dependent on how Friday goes...)

I use ESR screen protectors. They are really good. Most come with a frame you click on the device so they align perfectly. I use them on my iPad Pro too!

Funnily enough my 12 pro ones arrived just. Going to have to wait until the 9th to try them out!

I’ve found the spigen screen protectors are best. They come with a cleaver device that fits the protector perfectly. Superb. Spigen, 2 Pack, Screen Protector for iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7"), Glas.tR AlignMaster, Auto-Align Technology, Case Friendly, High responsiveness, iPhone 12 Pro Max Compatible Tempered Glass

lots of jargon here just to make the product seem great. it is just a screen protector.

Can anyone comment on pre ordering on Apple website, applying Barclays finance and trading a handset along with the order, do you send the handset in or do you need to reserve in store and hand over the handset at the time of purchase? Many thanks in advance.

You'll get a pack send out in a few days time to send your old iPhone back. You don't need to reserve in store.

Blue series 6 ordered won't ship til 13th November.. As pro max won't be available til then all OK with that

Lol, you ever contacted three customer service and used your mobile in London before you will know the difference between EE and three been to London last year Googlemaps didn't even load up had to switch off 4G and use their 3G network..
I think EE getting very competitive these days three are overpriced.
What ever happened to three 5G network they keep on talking about we invested 2 billions pounds heard nothing yet....
Yes, many times and they've always been brilliant, they literally gave me £60 in my account so I could connect to 4G in a country that wasn't on their roaming to buy a data add on, as if I connected to the 4G for even a brief second it would start charging me, I didn't even have to beg I literally just connected to their live chat on the three app (on wifi) explained and they were like yeah here's £60

Like I said earlier, it depends on where you are which network is best for you, they are all exactly the same, the only thing different is what it says in the top left of your phone screen..

My sim only deal with vodafone apparantly includes 5G. Will be irrelevant at home as almost any providers have a crap signal - went with VF mainly for wifi calling *because* they all have bad mobile signals. But if/when I return to work in central london it might be ok although I rarely do anything that needs high bandwidth. Getting a half decent signal to have a basic webpage load at paddington would be nice..
