Fair enough. I never had an issue yet with getting an payment lower than initial offer. Also I am worried about the pre-order as you may not get a release date delivery/pickup...

Its the first time ive actually traded a phone in by posting it off which is why im edgy and wanting it done, if id used them previously a few times and never had issues id wait until id ordered as I don't think Apple take the money at point of purchase anyway.

This post has given me some hope though as I think the majority of peoples experiences is that they've been given the money that were offered on the site

If I don't get a release day phone then so be it, I just don't see demand being that high this year due to covid and the phone not being all that different other than 5G and hell, still not all that different from the X.

Had no issues at all last year sat at my desk at work pre ordering with the app and managed a launch day release so here's hoping anyway!

...where are the leather cases this year from Apple? Seems that because the MagSafes are made from leather, they’re not bothering with actual leather iPhone 12 cases. 🙁

Think I’ll go from my 11 Pro (green) to a 12 Pro (blue). Nothing really jumps out to make me want to upgrade though am running out of storage on my current 64GB phone and wouldn’t mind a slightly bigger screen, so why not. I just know I’ll be tempted by ProMotion next year though as well!

The clear cases look interesting but they kinda look like there is that weird white circle thing going on where the Magsafe actually attaches - which would then look even more weird when you take the Magsafe portion off....?!

Let’s be honest, Apple cases look nice when they are new but they are crap in terms of drop protection. I said earlier I fancied the green silicone case and then I realised it’s £49 .... Think i’ll buy a proper one off Amazon lol.

....anybody know if we will need new 5G SIM cards for the iPhone 12s? How would a 4G sim from my iPhone XS work in the new iPhone 12 which uses 5G for instance (I’m with EE)?

so I'm settling on the 12 Pro 128Gb in pacific blue, maybe a blue case and will look at the dual MagSafe charger when released..

also keen on the HomePod minis.. been setting up my new place and hand a bunch of nest mini's I was going to use in the kids rooms but might change that up

I guess they didn’t bother with leather cases this year because them MagSafe add ons are leather themselves.

On my third apple leather case now and always found them to be extremely durable and not had a single scratch on any of my phones, and its not like a mother them.

Had 2 saddle browns which over time turn a nice rustic dark brown and currently have a black leather which genuinely looks good as new.

Pretty miffed they won't be out on the 16th... However now considering a Graphite 12 Pro with the Plum silicone... that does look nice

If you mean the charger, it can attach directly to the phone

O2 are saying you'll need a 5G sim. It might look the same but I guess there's something different, I can't imagine they want to go through the process of upgrading everyone's SIM for no reason.

.....not necessarily! When we switched from 3G to 4G, we required new SIM cards so hence the reason I was asking switching from 4G to 5G!

Maybe my lad has a 5G ready plan from EE and sim looks no different
