Anyone else regretted their pre-order colour choice and changed it?

Was sold on Natural Titanium but having seen a lot of videos and photos as well as the case options the hype wore off for me and I switched my Sky pre-order to Blue Titanium.

All the colours are nice though, there's no bad choice (compared to last year where the Purple was definitely a gimmicky/novelty colour).

I did for a while today tbh…. Ordered Ti blue but was looking at the Ti white today and was tempted. But I then ordered my light blue and clay silicon cases and was happy again

I think what I might do is if (if) I get the 512GB on Friday I'll go with that but if not I'll stick with my Apple order and cancel the CWH order. Hate it if they're advertising Friday delivery and don't deliver.

I’ve still got a pro and pro max on order.

I’m tempted by the pro max but I’m not sure it’s practical for me. I work outdoors and not sure it would even fit in my work trousers!

I’ve ordered a cheap 14 pro max case from Amazon to try tomorrow so I’ll see how it feels

I’m still Pro too have been since the “6S Plus” as just couldn’t get used to the larger form factor, especially as my phone is in my jeans pockets most of the time ( even at home)!

I did get one off them a couple of years ago and got it on launch day. No problem. We will see... As I said, If I just return my Apple order I assume my Barclays finance is just cancelled and they don't blacklist me for next year? 😅

Amazon UK have advised Saturday 23rd September delivery! Not quite release day but I’m happy!

Tuesday 26th here. It said 22nd when I placed the order. I’ll cancel and wait it out.

How is the torro leather quality compared to say Nomad?

I have no experience with Nomad cases but I’ve been using the Torro cases since the XR and they’ve held up really well.

Dark Brown leather is a classic. If the case seems a bit on the matt side to you try using a bit of leather cleaner/polisher and give it a buff. I use the Astonish brand and the leather polishes up really nicely.

Honestly I’d be absolutely amazed if they delivered a phone on launch ordered today.

I like Mous as they have great face down protection (various finishes including leather)

Weirdly the 7 plus was one of my favourites, now if I ever use it as a burner I wonder how on earth I lasted a year with it!

Just catching up here but 7 plus, jet black, is my absolute undoubted favourite of all the iPhones I’ve had either before or since.

Using it atm since I traded my 14 in and it’s still great - even if the battery struggles and it isn’t on the latest software.

Usually the problem is Amazon don’t give dates. However when they do they are pretty accurate. It’s a shame it’s a Saturday, worst day for me to stay home waiting for the delivery. Lol. Would have preferred a weekday. Never mind.

I have never understood why Amazon struggles with launch day - well actually that’s a lie - it’s because they get the stock sent to them on Friday then send them out by their own delivery drivers - unlike the other resellers where it comes direct from Syncreon. (This is an assumption based on previous years)

Amazon struggles with launch day

I sometimes wonder if the fulfilment area is a little more independent than we realise. I was due to have something from amazon delivered yesterday, realised this morning I hadn't had the delivered notification, went to check. "Delivery attempted" message.

It may or may not have been. Seeing as how it was being delivered to an amazon locker, I'm not sure what the issue was... Full maybe, or a driver ran out of day and hit the button without checking the address.

I’m getting Pro. Ease of carrying iPhone around is more important to me than 5x zoom or big screen. Since my move from 12 pro max to 13 pro I’ve never entertained the idea of going back to pro max.

Pro is so much easy to carry when you go Legoland, Drayton Manor and etc.

This is exactly why I’m going from a 13 pro max to a 15 pro this time. No regrets and I’ve used a smaller phone before which works for me. Ease of slinging it in my back pocket etc outweighs the handful of times I’ve ever used a zoom for pics.
