Been on iOS 17 since the start of public betas along with watchos10 and macOS sonoma.

Of all the things I actually use I can honestly say I’ve hardly noticed a difference my favourite thing is the new snoopy watch face

Does anyone recommend a particular brand of leather case? I like the look of this 'Mujjo' one, any thoughts? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mujjo-Leather-Case-iPhone-Pro-Dark-Tan/dp/B0CFC2F8YK
I bought the Mujjo case. It's shipped from the UK so I received it within a couple of days. Mujjo offers a 14 day returns policy, return postage label provided. Much better than ordering from the US, which is often necessary with other brands. I have it here and waiting for my iPhone 15 Pro. It looks very nice, smells of leather - unlike the more recent Apple leather cases and appears well made. Obviously I've yet to try it on a phone. Given the returns policy it might be worth a punt.

I’m getting Pro. Ease of carrying iPhone around is more important to me than 5x zoom or big screen. Since my move from 12 pro max to 13 pro I’ve never entertained the idea of going back to pro max.

Pro is so much easy to carry when you go Legoland, Drayton Manor and etc.
Smaller phones also fit in cup holder, small swimming shorts pockets etc.

I’ve had black/space grey iPhones since they started making them in black.

This year I’ve gone for natural titanium for a ‘change’ but thinking maybe I should have gone for black 🫣😶

I’ve got 27th Sept to 2nd October and I’m hoping this may get bumped up to launch day, in an under promise/over deliver kinda way. 🤞🏻
They usually under promise over deliver. Might not quite be launch day but not far off.

anyone else not touching ios17 until the new phone arrives?

I'd like to, but considering I generally do a phone-to-phone transfer I think both need to be on the same software for it to work seamlessly (or at least, minimise any potential issues)

First time I've purchased an iPhone and didnt get Applecare+
Hope I don't live to regret it!

Slowly moving away from all warranty purchasing - my car warranty expires tomorrow as well! Always end up paying for them but never end up using them!

That is actually a good point. Should work with one phone on 16 and the new one on 17, but yes, you never know.

I still took AppleCare+ but the basic only as my bank account covers theft and loss. I thought an accidental drop or a battery swap might happen, so I did not take the risk. Mind you I never had to use AppleCare+ so far.
