Using the action button as a camera came in handy at football yesterday, trying to capture the moment for those who could not attend.

it’s so much more tactile / intuitive when you’re at an event to use the shutter button! My team also scored 4 goals so it got plenty of use :D

Lots of talk on eSIM, just wanted to say my transfer from 14 plus to 15 plus was very smooth, really impressed with how it all worked!

Had an amazing experience in the Liverpool Apple Store whilst picking up my new iPhone 15 Pro Max yesterday.
Guy who was serving me asked what I was doing with my old phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) I replied by saying either eBay or one of the other buying sites online.
He asked if I was prepared to sell back to Apple, did a couple of tests which lasted a few minutes and offered me more than what the majority of sites were offering elsewhere.
I said I was happy to accept and he put the money in my bank there and then.
Felt a bit weird watching him reset my old phone and take it off me when I wasn’t expecting it but walked out of the store really happy.
Always have a great experience in that store

No luck finding Apple Store with stock for 128gb pro all weekend 😭😭

I don’t suppose there is any chance of some popping up on a Sunday either

If you can wait a few days for delivery MPD have some pro's in stock.

Anyone with that bracket seeing any movement yet?

Hopeful that this may start changing start to middle of next week, based on all the 27th to 2nd which are processing now.

Hey everyone! Are any of you guys having any issues with your 15 promax? A friend of mine got his on Friday, and he was telling me, that whenever he makes a FaceTime call, it gets really hot, and the battery drains really quickly! He said he has been doing some googling, and it is all over Google? People seem to think that the processes are too fast for these phones? He is totally blind like me, so has his brightness on zero, auto brightness off, always on display off, background app refresh off. But he said it is just draining like crazy! Not good for a brand-new phone! And he uses FaceTime audio, not video.

FaceTime Audio is fine for me on 15PM. Even on long calls.

FaceTime video always uses more energy and make iPhones hot on long calls. I had this with previous models too.

Did you do that on your new or old phone? O2 transferred my eSIM on my old phone to a physical SIM which they told me to put in my new phone. Are you saying I could use this process to switch my physical SIM to an eSIM on the same (new) phone?

That would be handy…
Well last week I already transferred my physical sim to an eSIM on my old phone. Then I used my old phone again to create a new eSIM to then scan the QR code with my new phone.

So I think you could just go into your app and request an eSIM, afterwards go to „install your sim“ and you get a QR code which you need to scan in settings.

Hope this helps.

Does this apply to the Amorite ones as well?
Hey all - I must have missed the chat about which screen protectors to get this year. As I always do, I bought the (regular) ESR protectors, except this year they came with a black border, which I thought was normally an indicator of the Armorite model?

Anyway has anyone else noticed that they are way thicker than last year, and also that they obscure a part of the screen? Only about 5px in my testing, but still. Detracts somewhat from the thinner bezels!

Also I know I am late but for old time's sake: Got my 15 PM in Blue Titanium yesterday at the Stratford Apple Store :)
Torras GlassGo is the one to get for best coverage if you're not price sensitive.

ESR if you want bang for buck and don't mind some border encroachment due to thicker borders.

Keep seeing all Pro’s pop up on the “join the upgrade program”. You don’t have to join, you can reserve and pay in full on collection. But you have to be quick!

Anyone had e-SIM activation issues?

My Lyca eSIM won’t activate on 15 PM.

O2 worked fine.
Yeah I'm on Lyca network too. Failed to activate and had to buy a physical sim from W.H Smith because their website probably flagged my account for ordering an eSIM then trying to order a physical SIM. Customer support were clueless and didn't understand my problem. They refused to send a physical sim through chat/phone as it's only done online by filling a new customer form. Their website probably thought I was scamming using the same name and address repeatedly so flagged me. I'll move networks once their introductory offer expires.

Yeah, I think the IUP reservations can include stock which won’t show on the normal page. My partner bought a yellow 15 128GB yesterday - it showed as out of stock when trying to purchase normally, but she could reserve on the upgrade programme. When we got to the store, they said it was the last one they had. We just asked to pay in full instead of joining the programme and it was absolutely fine.

Yes exactly. The main website only shows stock when they have >10 units whereas the upgrade page shows <10. And they don’t mind how you pay.
