Yeah me too! Battery in the 12 isn't that great anymore and also the lighter weight of the 15 should be a bonus too!
12PM is 226g, 15PM is 221g, don't think the weight difference is going to be noticeable personally!! Looking forward to the better camera, longer battery and brighter outside personally!

My case has just arrived. The fine woven has a sort of fuzzy feel to it. I’m not sure about durability and how grubby it will look in a few weeks time. Unlike leather, I can’t see how it will age very well.
The plastic buttons on the side feel really loose, but I’m sure that will be fine once the phone is fitted
Need some Macro lens shots. 😉

Terrible experience so far with preordering from iPhone and choosing the Barclays loan. It keeps being declined at the point of approving the purchase with any of my credit cards. Same experience for my partner.

We both tried to do the same using iPad and it went through right away.
If you’re applying for credit from Barclays, what have credit cards got to do with anything?

I think me charging it every night (on bed stand wireless charger) doesn't help it tbh.
I do the same and sometimes wireless charge in the daytime if needed as well. I'm not that fussed about the battery side of things tbh, just charge as and when really.

What do you mean by fall apart?

I've had every single leather case since the 12 and every single one within a year starts splitting around either the Lightning port or at the top edges. Apple refused to replace one last year citing "wear and tear" despite being a design flaw. When it inevitably happens again I'll talk to Amazon who won't complain.

also going from 12 PM to 15PM, looking at buy prices, reckon I'd get more on eBay once fees taken into account?

envirofone
£395
music magpie
£400
CEX
£301
Apple Trade in
£350
I've gone with the Apple trade in this time, which is the 1st time I've done it this way.

I think it will be a similar price using eBay after fees etc.

Has anybody got the blue FineWoven case arriving today and can share impressions? Mine is probably arriving tomorrow.

Oh fair enough. Can't say i've ever had an issue with a case doing that before.

I've ordered Peel's super thin "case" for my new phone. It's as close to naked as you can get but still offers some protection. They don't stand up too well to drops but for everything else they are spot on.

Ordered a Quad-Lock case to for the mountain bike.

I think that the lighter colour finewoven cases are gonna get shoddy really quick
I went for black, hopefully it will last a year.

My Alpine Loop for the Apple Watch Ultra started to come apart at the loops last year and Apple replaced it. The replacement has been fine so far, but hopefully the FineWoven material lis durable.

what would everyone recommend as a case for something clear and very thin? im contemplating not using a case at all as i dont like the bulk that comes with cases ive had previously, but would rather some protection than none at all, hence wanting a minimal footprint case thats clear so can still see the back.

ive seen otterbox and the apple clear cases but the apple ones feel protective (good) yet thick (bad, in my case). I havent tried an otterbox case before.

Well I'm going back on what I said and not going to upgrade to the 15PM just right now...

My 3mnth old 14PM is doing a sterling job; it's immaculate/as new and does all that I need of it and seeing as I use Magsafe charging, the USB C move isn't as important to me...

I probably will upgrade in the near future; but for now, it's not the right time. More so as I'm about to spend £2k refreshing the suspension on my BMW F31... That's more important currently!

I've gone with this one from Spigen:

I have the same one for my 12 PM and is really good.

Is there a reason you bought a new 14 3 months before the announcement of the 15?

Honesty I just normally buy a £3 case from eBay and they’ve been better quality than what I’ve had from apple.

My apple silicone case for my 12 fell apart after 12 months. My eBay one still looks brand new though.

Might just do that again for the 15 pro…

I'm the same. Absolutely HATE putting cases on. It's amazing just how much better the phone feels when you take it out of the case and hold it naked.

I stopped with screen protectors about 5 years ago but still can't bring myself not to have some kind of case - super annoying.
