Was planning on using an Apple gift card to buy mine that I can get discounted through a work scheme (Advantages through Childcare Vouchers)

I checked on Tuesday and it was 4% off but now the link doesn’t work anymore (and I’ve not bought yet). Anyone else having similar problems? Think they’ve taken these down as they know a load of people about to buy a new iPhone?

I've ordered a FineWoven (green) case, but had given up on Apple cases before this announcement & I'm not hard on my gear in any way - I'll give this new material a go, but if it's no better then I'm out.

Their leather ones delaminated - particularly on the corners, the very thin layer of leather over the chassis of the case peels away & exposes the material below. Green leather on my 13 PM and the blue leather on my 12 P looked poor after a few months.

The silicone ones seem to chip (I guess were dropped) & expose a second layer underneath & also get polished / shiny, losing their matte finish on the corners - not good enough for the money. I've got a cheap JETech silicone case from Amazon for my work iPhone 11 that's held up a lot better for a fraction of the price & still looks new.

I’m getting the same thing, have you figured it out?

Yes after almost an hour chatting with Apple support going round in circles, someone finally told me they are only accepting financing at the moment and you cannot use cards until tomorrow when it properly goes on pre-order.

I'm the same. Absolutely HATE putting cases on. It's amazing just how much better the phone feels when you take it out of the case and hold it naked.

I stopped with screen protectors about 5 years ago but still can't bring myself not to have some kind of case - super annoying.
I stopped screen protectors last year and now have some mysterious scratches that I have no idea got on my 14PM. On my way to Apple to get the screen replaced now.

They were terrible. This is why I've bought from Amazon for the case this time.

I used my card for my pre-preorder on Tuesday night. Worked ok?

Three finewoven are here. Hard to decide which way to go without a phone to try them on! They won’t fit on my 14 Pro.

It’s between blue and black I think. The green is a bit duller than I was expecting.

The weaves are a lot finer than I was expecting, I like the feel of the case. It’s slim, the sides have a nice feel to them, smoother than the back of the phone but still textured and not too slippery. They definitely pick up a bit of lint and it’s easy to catch bits in between the groove where the edges of the case meet the back so could get annoying. The buttons are metal, slightly loose but will be nice and clicky I think.

Hmmm. A difficult one as I have had leather cases for years and have been wanting to get away from them as the tackyness irritates me sometimes. Maybe while the cost of one of these is absorbed in the sale price of my 14 pro, I’ll run one and see how it goes.

A quick swipe with a microfibre removes all lint easily

Hello, apologies if that has been answered in previous pages - if I want to receive my pre-order as soon as possible, should I choose “collect from store” or delivery? Historically which one has been faster?

To this day I still have no idea what people do to use all the space up on their phone

I have a 128gb and still have 59gb available, I have music saved for when offline, thousands of photos etc.

All I can think of is that people have tons of huge game apps downloaded 😅
do you have the photos optimised storage or full res. I have 128gb but i can't fit them all in full res, so currently using optimised storage which i dont like. Thats why im getting 512 this time.

Is anyone getting AppleCare for the 15?

I have never had it on any iPhone and never needed it!
I do as I had lots of issues with my 13 pro max - that’s the only reason I’m changing my 13 pro max for for 15 pro max. To have it on warranty again.

Depends what time deliveries are made in your area. If you can get an early pickup slot from store then that will likely be faster.

The blue looks nice, it looks darker than it shows on Apples website but that's fine I was hoping it would be closer to the colour of the Titanium blue. Mine is on the way.

also going from 12 PM to 15PM, looking at buy prices, reckon I'd get more on eBay once fees taken into account?

envirofone
£395
music magpie
£400
CEX
£301
Apple Trade in
£350

eBay will net you a lot more - especially if you list it on a final value fee discount weekend, which happen every other weekend and make the fee's either a fixed £1, or 80% off (in the UK anyways).

However, eBay also comes with the extra hassle of posting, making sure you don't get a fussy buyer, scammers, etc.....
