How does it work — does it show you the available collection date before you choose it? I’d hate to select collection, then go to the next page that says it’s a later date, by which point delivery slots would also have been taken

When you go to order it it’ll say something along the lines of ‘pick up in store on dd/mm/yyyy’ or ‘delivery on dd/mm/yyyy’ can’t remember the exact words.

From my experience the dates won’t start slipping until they have exhausted the allocated stock for the model for that specific day.

If and when you are successful, come back a couple of hours later and see how it will have changed.

Changed my pre order to the pro instead of pro max - Kept thinking that size bump will be too big now and with the pro being a bit bigger this time it should be a nice size increase from my 12!

pro max for me but the pro at 6.3 is now an interesting option

i still think apple are price gouging countries outside the USA current exchange is 1.31 and heading higher according to forcasts.

even taking in consideration a 20% tax rate in the states were paying 11% more than americans they are truly an american company and treat international customers far worse imo. But they are Apple and can do this.

upgrading from a 14 pro max so should be an decent upgrade.

The price in the UK for the 512GB is £1399 and in the USA same amount in dollars plus local taxes plus we get a lower trade in so if anything you’re better off. Doing that exchange rate thing like a tourist is not a good example in making a point for price gouging. Oh and let’s not forget you get 24 months Apple warranty.

I sold mine and they honored a 3 week old quote and I got £713 for 256GB pro max this week

I sold mine privately on AV Forums. No selling fees. I got £800 for my 512 pro max. If you’re not a member it’s worth signing up, if anything for next year. Also some great threads on there and some good members.

EE's web site seems to be a hot mess right now - have used different browsers, the app, cleared cookies etc and the amount of dead links is unreal at the moment.

I suspect the "Anytime Upgrade" was removed last month because you *could* technically upgrade 'early' if you're in a position to settle the Device Plan Agreement as part of their Flex Plans.

I’ve never done an Apple in-store trade in as I usually sell it online and send it off after I upgrade, but I’m travelling on 21st so figured I would collect the 16pm and trade in my 14pm at the same time.

Potentially a stupid question, but does it mean I have to go in with my current phone wiped and ready to handover and then install my backup from the cloud?

If so, how do I show them my pick up confirmation etc. or do they just take my word for it?

Upgrading my silver 14PM this year and not sure whether to go for the Desert or the Black 😬

If the desert was a little darker it would be a no brainer for me but it almost looks rose in some lights and I'm really not a fan of the rose gold...

Black is a little boring as well so I suppose it's gonna be a tricky decision here.


Also was thinking of doing the 0% Barclay offering because... why not? Anybody know if there is any real downside to this? Can I pay it off earlier if I decide to at some point?

Yeah, a dark copper or orange would have made me consider upgrading my 15 Pro, but nothing spec wise or colour wise stood out for my needs.
No penalties from paying off earlier from past experience but you're probably better just keeping it running at 0% and keeping the money for yourself.

Mine initially got declined too. I live in a block of flats and realised the two addresses you have to put it didn’t match EXACTLY. Retried and it went through fine. Could be the issue?
