I’ve not had any problems with trade in via post (touch wood) and I’ve done it several different companies. Take photos before you send it and get special delivery with insurance if you are worried.

Talk with retentions at EE. I’m currently on £9.50 a month ish (thats after a yearly rise) including unlimited Calls/minutes, roughly 30GB data, and EU roaming. I can‘t remember exactly what else, because when I went to check the app said i was in a 10 minute queue, can’t be bothered to wait :)

Jump on the Apple Store chat and they will sort it for you. Mind you, you may have a bit of a wait. They will be busy today.
 
Ordered with Vodafone but have no confirmation worryingly. Anyone else the same?

They are also charging more than Apple by the looks of it, which is shady.

Gifting of data works for me and 3 family members. Called EE - they messed up, raising a complaint and re-ordering but suspect not on launch date now.
 
Does the upgrade program exist anymore? I thought you just bought on finance then used their trade in program at anytime to change phones, as such Apple Care is not required anymore.

That’s exactly what I do. Then I just trade the phone in every year for a new one.

Absolutely shambolic stuff from O2. Just got off the phone after an hour and a half of very very very slowly going through Switch Up with them, apparently I have a secured a launch day desert 16 PM but who knows what I’ll need up getting.

Did the website ever get back up?

Yeah buddy, nothing else for it. All the delivery times slipped elsewhere anyways. May wait and see what happens next week might try a local Apple Store for pickup instead but see what happens next week. I’m hoping the delivery date is brought forward

Bought 16 Pro on Barclays 24 month 0% for in-store pick up. Order status = ‘We’ve received your order’. Suspect the in-store pickup might be the differentiating factor with yourself.

Have you tried John Lewis. They still had stock of some for the 20th the last time I looked. When you check it out it will show the dates available. Delivery only no collections.

I spoke to customer service on the phone and predictably it was a waste of time. They had no idea. Fella just said leave it as is and if no change on the delivery date this time next week just cancel. Finding it hard to believe they had zero launch day stock, when every other uk retailer had some.
 
Anytime Upgrade DOES still exist within EE, people on the EE forums have confirmed.
But it's only available on NON-Flex plans and you must request it. Agent I dealt with said he applied it onto my account.


Anyone else managed to get the Anytime Upgrade deal for the 16s?

Nice, if you are the flex plans unfortunately the discount only applies to the air time portion of the contract not the device, so its in effect only 10%
 
Managed to get in and had it ordered by 13:10 - with a delivery date of 25-30th September.

They had collection for next Friday but I'm away until Sunday, hoping it gets bumped up in that delivery window. Seen some other posts of people who ordered after and it being there for release date, strange!

All PM were saying 25-30th when I got in, regardless of the colour or storage.

16 PM - Black - 512gb here though
 
Phew. Waited on hold for an hour but got through to Apple and the agent had it sorted in two minutes.
