‘Abusing’ probably a little strong. Apple state pretty clearly they’ll take it back for what ever reason.

Maybe a slight moral question but then where are Apple’s morals selling phones at £1000, having a $1=£1=€1 conversation rate in store, charging £30 for a usb cables etc etc
Very well said. It saddens me to say that Apple has become an extremely greedy corporation.

Every dog has its day. Apple should be careful not to alienate customers to the point where they simply decide enough is enough.

Right guys

If I joined the Apple upgrade program how do I select it without Apple care? As I think £54 a month is manageable without it plus with my sim only would cost me £72 a month better than the prices of EE which I bet will be over £80 a month

Sounds like you need the iPhone finance program, for which AC is optional.

“You have the right to cancel your order, return a product or cancel a service contract for any reason”

Staff in the Apple store have encourage me to try it out and see how you get on.

Yes but when you have no intention at all to keep it going in all that does not really apply.

Any higher than Apple's standard 'in the box' charger will do just fine.

I use these: Anker USB Charger 24W 2-Port USB Wall Charger and PowerIQ Technology for iPhone 8 / iPhone 8 Plus / iPhone X / iPhone 7 / 6 / 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 / mini 3, Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge, Nexus, HTC M9, Motorola, LG and More https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B016LPMFUA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Dq2Vzb55PW87E
If you want to use the specific fast charging you need a USB C charger with apples USB-C to Lightning cable but you can achieve ‘faster’ Charging using a higher wattage charger than included such as the one you showed

  1. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2017 using pre-production iPhone X units and software and accessory Apple USB‑C Power Adapters (29W Model A1540, 61W Model A1718, 87W Model A1719). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained iPhone units. Charge time varies with environmental factors; actual results will vary.

Quick Apple Watch question - I missed out on pre-ordering the series 3 watch last Friday and now it's slipped to 2-3 weeks delivery. I've got an 8 Plus reserved for this Friday and was hoping to get the watch around the same time. Does anybody know if the Apple stores get new stock every day like they do with iPhones, or is it really now a 2-3 week wait?

I could use the same 29 W charger for the iPhone X and my iPad Pro 10.5 ?
the iPad pro comes with a 12W charger I think (need to check mine)

if you bought a 29w charger, or have one which came with the MB and MBPs which is USB-C. You would also need a USB-C to lighting cable to use it.

i'd hazard a guess and think stores will have some stock, more likely the larger ones.

You can’t, it’s the iPhone payment plan which is different but there is a link on the Apple Store app. You can’t reserve the phone either, you might be able to for IUP and go in store to change it but I’ve heard people be refused.

Remember you will be binded to a 20 month loan and this must be all paid off before you can upgrade unlike the IUP where you can upgrade after X amounts of installments.

Yes what I meant is if I buy the whole set up for £89 I could use it to fast charge my iPad Pro 10.5 and the iPhone X.
