I still don't get how wireless charging works.

Of course. If you search the forums for UK reserve in-store (or along those lines), there was an option to check stock in-store at 6am every morning, and if there were any you could reserve one and walk in that day. I think it was for the iUP customers, but you could just walk in and say you'd like to pay in full and they'd honour it.
EDIT: Link was similar to above post
To be honest no one makes phone calls or text all done on imessage or whatsapp.Sheeesh - things are getting out of hand
I always though the costs of tariffs would come down over time, as data became more common - like it used to cost a fortune for calls but now they just throw unlimited at us - but it doesn't look like that's ever happening
Android have had OLED for years.
Come on, you know that Apple just swap the $ for £ and leave it at that.
£999 for the 64gb, £1099 for 256gb and £1199 for the 512gb seem the most realistic to me.
...these prices are madness!!!
Who's gonna pay over a grand for a phone FFS?!!! MAD PEOPLE - THATS WHO.....!!!

the same guy who paid 14% APR when you could have gone IUP?
only teasing![]()
the script itself is fine, the issue is apple are not currently exposing the data on stock publicly any more.. it will probably be once the in-store reservation goes live we will be able to see what info can be got at..I know the guy who wrote the script ... which is kinda freaky ... so will ask if he can take a look. I know he's busy tho, so if he can he can, if he can't he can't.
LOL - I know, I can't believe it!!!+1

Only way I would pay ~£1000 for the iPhone X is if it comes with 256gb storage at under £1000. If they charge that much for 64gb I'm out.
by that time production would be well matured and available in quantity, all driving down the costsBut if all IOS devices become OLED by 2020 just say the price would have to drop. Can't see a £600 IPod and a £900 iPad.
shocking... I'd never sign a mobile contract again.. happy to stick with with my all you can eat £19 a month on ThreeNote 8 on £93 a month with 50gb data. (£2232 24 months contract )lol
I hope that they start at 128GB on the X at £999, then 256Gb and 512GB.. if the increments are 100 i might go for the 256

I wonder if I'm going to be the only UK based MacRumors member who will be ordering the iPhone 8?![]()

I don't like the plus, it's just to big and bulky for me. I've been happy enough with my 6 but the battery life is starting to get worse so I've held on until now to take advantage of the updates.not even tempted for the + size?
for me there's just not enough difference between the 6, 7 and supposed 8. I moved from a 6s to a 7+ and happy i finally got use to the size! (tried the plus on the 6 and 6s but just never got use to it). i think I forced myself to stick with the plus size knowing the larger screen phones were coming this year.. and happy to see the 'square footage' of the phone is reducing.. my poor hand can return to some normality.
...I can see Apple announcing the iPhone X tonight and then going on to say, "....will be available later in the year or next year"!!!
iPhone 8 will be announced tonight, ready for pre-order next week or so but can't see them releasing the X as well as it will take the shine off the standard '8' versions (they'll release an iPhone 8, an 8S and an 8+). You mark my words - you heard it here first!!!!
