Details are a little sketchy at the moment. What's for certain is that, to qualify for an upgrade (of any kind) you have to have made a minimum of 11 payments and had your existing device for a minimum of 6 months.

If you meet that criteria, then what I've been told by Apple is that you will have to perform the upgrade in-store. The message from Apple (my local store) is that you will be able to pre-order on pre-order day for collection in-store, where your upgrade will be processed.

I encourage people on the upgrade program to call Apple and report back with the info they are given, perhaps we can get a consensus of what is true or not.

Someone on another thread said they had a chat session with AT&T who confirmed this Friday.

I have 'sold' it a week ago for nearly 600 quid. I can push this for another 2 weeks. Hopefully I can get a phone in time

Locked in £237 for my 6S 16gb on Envirofone. If anyone setup selling their phone without the 5% extra code, just drop them an email and they'll add it on

I'm leaning towards the 8 more than the X. If the 8 is £550ish or less, I'll preorder on Fri. If not then I'm heading to LA in December and I'll pick it up there.
