There is nothing that says EE will put any lock on the phone should it be sold, and certainly one that can’t be undone (happy to be proven wrong).

I posted the T&C’s earlier this evening, they say the handset can be sold if you get permission from EE. They do not state what will happen if you sell the contract.

Talk of them blocking it so it can’t be ‘undone’ is way off the mark is scaremongering imo!

Every year since the 6, it’s been a breeze. Yeah, the prices aren’t great but o2 have been exceptional for me. EE was tempting but I don’t need to change right now.

That's good to hear. EE is hands down the worst network I've ever been with. O2 hasn't let me down since switching from EE!

I live in Birmingham and used to commute to London on the train regularly, I was on O2 for years and years but their 4g reception is so rubbish.. I switched to EE couple of years ago and their 4g coverage and speed for is brilliant, beats O2 by hands down.

That's the exact problem I had! I was stuck in 3 contracts with them due to a shared account. It was a nightmare terminating those early. This was before 'EE WifiCalling' and 'signal boosters'. I know a lot of friends and family who have left EE due to signal problems and being overcharged. I personally think they worked better as two separate companies when it was T-Mobile and Orange. Not to mention with T-Mobile I had a 50% friends and family discount, I believe EE only give 30% now?!

Ofcourse, he is stuck with a long 24 month 'Loan Repayment' and there is other ways of getting a 'cheaper loan' of 890..... but hey, not everyone thinks the same way!

So by the fact that mine hasn’t dispatched yet and it’s supposedly arriving on Friday I guess it’s already in the UK.

Which means it’s probably one of the first ones off the production line and will have all kinds of defects!

They took the money in Monday in full from my account. Does this mean I could receive Friday?

They took the money in Monday in full from my account. Does this mean I could receive Friday?

They took the money from my account on Friday (that’s the date of the transaction anyway) and I’ve only had 2 emails

I tried to sign up to UPS my choice but it's quite useless as Apple haven't provided a tracking number. I've used things such as my mobile number, order number (-2 digits of the number) and my post code etc. I do agree that we have a much better experience though, DPD is the best.

If you sign up to UPS My Choice then if anyone sends you a package with UPS and uses your mobile number as a reference or something else that links to you then it automatically shows up in the app, just the same as DPD. My iPhone X cover just popped up in the app last night.

Pre-ordered my X 64GB last Friday... I usually go for the biggest size memory but over the last year I’ve subscribed/move to more cloud based services so shouldn’t require the same amount of space as before. If I find going back to smaller storage impedes me in any way I’m on the annual upgrade program so will just go bigger next year.
