DPD told me (for my Apple TV 4k) that Apple requested the option not be available... but that might just be BS, and some depots disable it... Either way, it's not uncommon for it to not be available - especially for busy delivery days.

Different online shops take different levels of service with some allowing customers to chose specific slots at no cost, some where the customer can but has to pay and some with no options. I guess that with so many units being shipped if everyone was allowed to select a time then the drivers would be zigzagging randomly around too much.

so you should be all sorted now then! mines all come up on the DPD app for delivery tomorrow, seems like vodafone did well this year!

Indeed mate, they just need to get their systems to sync up. My new plan is also now reflected on myVodafone and have applied my employer discount.

How do you track the UK Mail deliveries? Tried the tracking number from Apple.com on UK Mails website but it does not find anything.

Got a dispatch status for my iPhone X !!!
I ordered from very.co.uk at 8.25am, a silver 64gb.

Why cant three get their act together.....even customers of a non carrier store are getting shipments. I ordered 750am on Friday last week and still being told 10 November yet my confirmation email says 30th october

Yeah I know you're right. Even though I've gone through this a few times before, I still question myself.

I know mate. Same here... checking my orders although I don't know what for :D

I hope the X will be available for pick up in the US end of November. Will be there for my holiday and would be mightily tempted to 'upgrade' to a 256GB phone... Technically i don't need it mind you, but if I can get it basically for the UK price of an 64GB.... tempting.... very tempting!

@Illdoit2morrow you've made the front page of 9to5 mac too!

do you need an agent? ;)

** edit unless thats not you and someone's stolen your thunder!!!

One enterprising 9to5Mac reader in the UK even managed to get his a day early by trying his luck. Vinay Vaghjiani saw that courier firm DPD was delivering his iPhone, so turned up at the local depot this morning with ID and order details and asked if he could pick it up in person. Some hapless employee clearly didn’t realise it was on hold until tomorrow and handed it over (above).

with your picture!

Ha ha it is me

They used a different name and said it’s from their forums but I’ve corrected the author in the comments

My Three order is still at 10th November. It was originally 10th, then bumped to the 3rd where it stayed for 4 days and now its gone back up to 10th. I am half expecting to get it tomorrow as I have ordered 64gb Silver. If not, i'll be gutted and have to use my sh!tty iPhone 5s for another week.

So guys on to next obsession for the day! Everyone with a DPD Mail when do you think we'll see some movement from Hinckley?

Site doesn't show anything but I've just received a text from UKMail with a link and it shows through that as being collected and being booked in. It uses the 14 digit consignment number from the apple.com site.

Sounds like a load of us have just had a UK Mail text. I was hoping to see if it was possible to request an early delivery, but can't work out how to do it...

My guess would be late tonight, probably after 10-11pm when the trucks start their trips out to the local depots?

At least that's what happens when I get deliveries from DPD from Overclockers UK in Stoke-on-Trent. Amusingly, when I buy stuff from them it goes from their Stoke store to the Birmingham depot, then to the local depot in Stoke, then to my house - so it needlessly passes past my house in Stafford twice!

Cheers for response! The next 24 hours are going to go very slow!
