Despite making my Three upgrade at 7:44 AM and being given delivery of 30th and then tomorrow, rang again as no email and they are now telling me 10th Nov.
Got myself £50 credit and £2 off per month as an apology for giving me the wrong dates but pretty annoying... but oh well
Received a phone call from ee store this afternoon.... my iPhone X ready to collect tomorrow!!!! Was originally by the 10th.. wasn’t expectig this! So happy....

Previous DPD deliveries have been around 11-1pm in the past for me for other deliveries, is it custom for it to be different for iPhone days? Could it be as late as 6 or 7? I might cry.

So if my backup is 11.1 and new phone is 11.03, what is the way around this when setting up? Will my X prompt me to update iOS as part of the process or will I have to set up as new then update the software then restore? Sorry if this has been asked.
My first confirmation about delivery tomorrow was from 3online.support@unipart.com at 19:25yay! just received my confirmation by 3 of the delivery tomorrow. Oddly, a differently worded email to the previous guy who received confirmation but I don't care really...

Since its down to a 3-4 week wait on the Apple store I'm tempted to order there while keep a look out on the reserve and pick up option.
Do Apple take the money right away once I hit the order button or on dispatch, I'm sure its been mentioned but its probably 150 pages agoJust dont want a grand coming out of my account in case I manage to get one on Reserve & Pick Up

I will have to setup as new, install profile, update to 11.2 then erase and restore
I have literally just downgraded my iPhone to iOS 11.1 for this exact reason. Didn't want to risk losing everything and not being able to set up my phone from a backup from iOS 11.2b1Set up as new then upgrade and restore
