I have spoken to Argos across three platforms - Twitter, Live Chat and Phone. Now awaiting the managers call to discuss these problems.

Well so far I have had a nightmare trying to secure one of these phones.
I was ready and waiting for the Apple pre-order launch but the store failed to load for me until approx 08:10 at which point I managed to order a 256gb SG but not until the 13-20 Nov.
I then ordered another from CPW as they were stating launch day delivery however i was later advised I would not be getting it on launch day (i think it had moved to the 10th, if i recall correctly) so cancelled the order.
Very early this morning I ordered one from Argos as they were stating delivery tomorrow, I also confirmed with one of their advisors that the order had gone through and I would receive tomorrow with Yodel, sadly this afternoon I had an email to say that wasnt going to happen. So another order cancelled.
I then checked back with JL and noticed 256gb SG was back in stock so managed to order one, checks have gone through and money taken. I have spoken with an advisor who has told me that its been picked, so I think its all good for a for a store collection tomorrow (I HOPE).
I have never had to fight so hard to spend so much on a phone hahahaha.

Me too. I've spoken with DPD again though who have spoke with the local depot. Turns out the wife is also due a parcel and they're together on the same van, so I'm going by the delivery estimate for her (non iphone) package...For some reason I can't track the driver with DPD for this order? Any one know why? All I can see is the scheduled delivery timeframe.
