I doubt it. Their match price does not relate to special offers.
I just looked it up on the JL site, it appears they may price match according to this:
What if a competitor is offering a bundle of products?
We will match on a case-by-case basis the total price for the bundle of products, if the price of the bundle is publicly available to all customers and the products in the competitor’s bundle are identical to products we sell, including any free items. If bundled products offered at a promotional rate by a competitor can also be bought individually at full price, we will generally not lower our price for the bundle itself in store or online.

What about promotions?
We match price-based promotions given at the point of purchase, but we don’t consider service or reward-based promotions, such as trade-ins, cashbacks, extended warranties or express delivery. If a competitor is running a very short-term promotion, we may not have a chance to lower our price, but we’ll still consider refunding you the difference.

Anyone used musicmagpie to recycle their old device? Are they reliable?

There is a 10% more code I have found which shows when I add it to the basket, but doesn’t show the amount and just stays at 0.

O2 recycle also doing 10% more with code 10MORE

At least they were the other day when I processed an order.

Oh surprised

That's the same as mine - I got my confirmation email of the order by 5:15am so perhaps there's still hope. Every actual person I've spoken to has confirmed delivery today. The email is the only one saying otherwise…

The lack of a tracking number makes me doubt it, I do hope you're right though, I'll update you if I get any changes, good luck!

Set my alarm this morning for 0550 (on a Saturday?!) and found that the two local stores had stock of the 64GB in space grey for pickup for outright purchase & IUP. Cancelled my pre-order day estimated Dec 1st reservation (changed from the 2nd over the past week) and ordered for one for pick-up on IUP this morning.

I presume that the pre-order system allocated me a specific device in the inventory/manufacture backlog but find it strange that Apple couldn’t adapt the system to make use of existing stock.

I would have waited until I had the reserved pick up in my hand before cancelling the per Order! But then I am quite cautious!

Yea thanks. Unfortunately it still wouldn’t beat music magpie. Have a 7, 331 from magpie but 285 from O2

It’s not shortages it’s the weekend. Try Monday I’m sure they’ll be fully in stock then. Logistically nothing happens at the weekends...

I contacted Argos chat who told me it would be delivered today yet the tracking number they gave me states it is still with them ;/ Argos are rubbish

Ordered at 8.25, though ordering process was painful website crashing etc. Gave up at 8.15 logged out, went back in and basket ready for payment. Paid with aJL card so quicker on the verification I think.

Well lucky you, I had one in my JL basket ready for check out at 08:01 and never got past the checkout screen until, by the time I finally did at 08:27, the item was out of stock. Seems like it was very hit and miss and definitely not a fair process ....

Happy iPhone X day Part 2!
After yesterday’s debacle of a failed launch day delivery from Apple. (Am I the only unlucky one on this forum who had a launch day delivery fail?)
Get a surprising text from UK Mail that they will delivery my Silver 256GB TODAY at 11.20-12.20! Here we go again! No more drama!

If anyone who managed to get an order on JL yesterday afternoon that delivers today let me know :D gives me hope for Monday!

Also coincidentally I noticed Argos have refunded my paypal funds this morning.
Mines being delivered today after ordering yesterday afternoon, around 15.00

Dpd delivering between 1400-1500
